Another year of @spicedhoneyproductions 🌶️🍯

What I love about Spiced Honey Productions is the lack of limitations on her stage. My wildest ideas, the breaches of audience interaction, the ways I can play with the space. @paxsea not only gives me permission but encourages me to push myself and find my creative growth edges. Over the years, I’ve danced with multiple different knives, danced in the dark and played with practical lighting techniques, crawled and walked across audience members laps, and spent HOURS practicing spinning on my head in soap and water. Spiced Honey has given me the space to explore just how grotesque, absurd, frightening, silly, and tender sensuality can be. ✨

This year for the Rewind I’m revisiting two favorites: my very first burlesque piece (unpictured) and an out of this world exploration of that magical moment of intimacy just before or after a kiss. (first photo)💫

And beyond the art, what incredible friendships and collaborations have come from it! Thank you @paxsea and @lilwitchy99 , from our very first burlesque together to over half our twenties spent growing as artists and women alongside each other. What a beautiful friendship we’ve fallen into. 💚

Come experience another year of avant-garde burlesque, VIP tickets always get special treatment from my pieces 💋 IYKYK

💥WE ARE THE PEOPLE, WE HAVE THE POWER 💥

Still buzzing over the full queer take over of the birdcage stage in @brutopolis_state at @epfestival 🤘🏼
.
Thank you so much @gaffygaffiero for inviting me along and @ciara_ma_boc and Mark for having me as leader of the resistance against the state of Brutopolis! In a time where this all felt like a close mirror to the reality we are actually living in the power of uniting with community and the queer rebel collectives @cultur.riot_queerclubnight @rathausdublin and the gremlins showing up unapologetically ourselves, screaming, sweating, dancing, resisting and fuelling the fire/fight in us with the collective power we have when brought together against the system and those trying to tell us who to be and how to live was major. The perfect soundtrack to this is of course this banger by sis @julie_desire_ 💖❤️‍🔥Thank you to everyone who joined us on and off stage and to all the incredible new chosen family made. Strength in numbers. Fu#k fasci$m. Free Pal3stine. Trans rights are human rights! Queer anarchy forever! 🤘🏼❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥

We are speechless - thank you very much, from the bottom of our hearts. On Sunday we held our last Open Dance Class fundraiser at @elite.dance.cork, combining our efforts to help someone very special: @avatarguille, who firmly believes that enjoying dance in community should be an easily accessible and freeing experience that anyone willing and able to move should benefit from.❤️

Honouring that giving sense of togetherness, I have been organising a series of Open Dance Classes to raise funds for him and help him cover his ongoing medical costs and expenses post surgery - which also experienced more financial pressure after having to support family and everyone in Venezuela after the earthquakes.

These classes motivate donations while supporting a beautiful exchange in an environment where everyone can thrive, learn, contribute and celebrate.

Last Sunday, we raised a total of €933 dancing together. For clarity, that’s the total raised without charging any instructor fees, studio hire or class attendance fee. Everyone donated whatever they wanted, including myself. Thank you @avahennyy, for letting me go ahead with the initiative in the studio, and @paxsea, for joining me and embracing the occasion with nothing but love and support for the craft and the people involved. Thank you everyone, Andrew, Inam, Dante, Jess, Michelle, Ada, Caoimhe, and those who couldn’t join eventually due to unforeseen circumstances but were still willing to support: Mary, Ellen, Freya, Spice and everyone that supported in any way.
All proceeds are being directly donated to Guille to avoid GoFundMe waiting times and the platform’s costly management fees. 🫂

Guille was recently diagnosed with a kind of osteoarthritis that has been affecting his herniated discs, causing both spinal bulging and numbness. He had to very quickly undergo a non-invasive procedure in Jakarta which was very costly but seems to be one of the most effective treatments to improve his condition. While he heals, he cannot earn a living doing what he has always been so passionately sharing with the world.

Ayudemos a Guille con la mejor medicina: bailando ❤️

FUSE SPECIAL:
“A R I S E”
Our first FUSE SPECIAL combined forces to uplift the pioneering women of our communities and share the stage professionally with the Dancers of @lisamariechoreography’s collective. This month’s special is called “ARISE” and embraces a clear, empowering message:
“Together, we rise!”

Re-introducing: PAXSEA!

@paxsea purrs on the pole, and you might want to pet, but know that this kitty bites back. Get ready for a fiercely feline performance from this North Carolina native who now lives in Limerick, no stranger to the club, the stage and your hearts. 🐾❤️‍🔥

Cat got yer tongue?

LET’S MEOW TONIGHT!
