Nittany George Crisp🤍

In the summer of 2015, my dad brought a puppy yellow lab home as a surprise. We argued about his name and what we should call him. My mom announced the name “Nittany” to our family and we all instantly knew that this was the dog’s name. Since this day, Nittany became our family. My family says that Nittany truly was a Crisp at heart. A stubborn, big hearted, goofy dog. Nittany knew how to cheer you up. Doing something weird to make you laugh, or just snuggling with you until you are happy. Nittany loved being outside. Whether it was laying on the deck for hours, strolling around the yard, annoying the one groundhog that lived under our shed, or sitting on the first step of the pool. If he wasn’t outside he was making himself comfy on a piece of furniture in our house, with his 4 legs in the air. This is how Nittany spent the 10 years of his life. Outside, sleeping, or his favorite(and mine) spending time with his family. Whenever we would get home he would greet you with something in his mouth(usually one of our socks) with his butt moving so fast because of how happy he was to see us. He would then follow you around the house, and then lay right on top of you wherever you sat down. Although Nittany wasn’t the size of a lap dog, he made sure he was one. A meal you ate was also never alone. He loved all food and would sit next to you drooling and scratching at you until you threw him a piece. He was very good at begging because my whole family could never resist throwing him a piece. Over this past decade Nittany changed my life in so many ways. He made me happy. He truly was my best friend and soulmate. He was the best thing to ever happen to me. Unfortunately, Nittany got cancer, which got horrible in a short span of time, sadly taking my best friend away from me. He was a strong and fearless dog, and always will be. He is up in heaven now, chasing lacrosse balls and eating all the eggs he can get. We love and miss you Nittany. Rest easy my baby❤️ by @paytyncrisp
