What a beautiful Sunday we experienced at home!

Seeing families step forward to dedicate their babies to the Lord reminds us of the immense gift it is to walk out our faith in community.

Parenting is not a journey we were ever meant to navigate in isolation.

As a church, we did not just celebrate the lives of these little ones this weekend.

We made a covenant.
We committed to surrounding these parents with support, praying for them in their most exhausting moments, and being a steady spiritual family for their children.

God is writing beautiful stories in the lives of these families.

Join us in prayer this week for every baby dedicated and for their parents as they step into this beautiful new season. 🕊️ by @pbcdenver

Are you exhausted from trying to keep up the appearance of a perfect spiritual life? 💭

We often fall into the trap of measuring our faith by the boxes we check, hoping that doing all the right things will somehow fix what is broken on the inside.

But as we were reminded this Sunday, washed hands can never clean a filthy heart. Relying on external religious devotion will only leave you tired and empty.

Jesus does not want your religious resume.

He wants your real, unfiltered heart.

Stop striving for outward perfection today, let your guard down, and let Him bring true renewal from the inside out. 🤍🕊️ by @pbcdenver

¿Cuánta de tu energía se agota todos los días intentando construir un lugar seguro para ti y los tuyos? 🏚️

El Evangelio nos presenta una alternativa radicalmente diferente 🕊️

Jesús no nos promete una vida donde las tormentas no existan, pero nos ofrece el único lugar seguro que jamás podrá ser derrumbado.

Cuando dejamos de vernos como los reyes de nuestra propia historia y reconocemos Su verdadera autoridad, dejamos de luchar.

Rendir el control ya no se siente como una pérdida, sino como nuestro mayor alivio.

Su sombra es suficiente.
Su presencia es nuestra mayor seguridad.

Hoy puedes dejar de intentar sostener todas las piezas de tu vida.

On Sunday, September 27th, we are celebrating one of our absolute favorite things as a church family: new life!

Baptism is a beautiful public declaration of an inward decision to follow Jesus. It is a moment to celebrate leaving our old selves behind and stepping into the new life He offers us.
