In honor of the Winter Olympics, very thankful to be apart of USA Hockey 🇺🇸 for the past 7 years!

I’ve been blessed to meet great mentors, coaches, and players.

To be apart of Coaching / Player Development is a privilege.

This save was made 4 days ago at practice… so important to keep your habits and detail throughout the year when you practice! Always COMPETE, you can”t teach that.

Simple fundamental = Get back to your post. 🥅

It ain’t rocket science 🚀

What a ride, what a group, what a year. So proud of this team and everything they’ve accomplished. From @jmglock27 eating a puck in the face on the kill to @laffer_hbu making saves without a helmet. You guys left everything out there!
Thank you for the work fellas

Can’t wait to see what the future holds for you guys!

Securing the shutout with 1:11 to go on the clock! Dylan does a great job working back to center net after getting behind in the play. If we have to be desperate, be desperate back to center net and get back to your post.

The overhead shows a great example of rotation and focusing on that plant leg. Keep it underneath you and know where you want to go.

✅ Know where all 5 guys are.
✅ Don’t chase the game, hit your spots.
✅ Foundational habits lead to success.

Rocket Science 🚀

Great job managing traffic by “looking over the fence”. Arriving set, balanced and at a good depth able to stuff the tip and collect the rebound.

✅ Look over the fence
✅ Know where all 5 guys are
✅ Set, Balanced, Compact.

@loganterness doing a great job to get the win! Sticking to his habits allows him to showcase his ability to play hockey.

- Know where all 5 players are.
- Trust your feet.
- Trust your reads.

Create your low coverage with good balance and posture.

It ain’t rocket science 🚀🧠

Great job by @loganterness integrating into RVH. Driving that stick across the crease allows him to stay compact. Doing a great job bringing his back leg with him and setting his feet prior to the release.

Traffic Management! 🥅 🧠

We are watching a practice clip of @ian.shane He does a great job of disconnecting his upper and lower body. Allowing him to maintain and sightline and positioning.

Watching practice allows you to maintain discipline with game habits as well as tendencies so when you play you have the confidence you put the work in! #hockey #coaches #goaliecoaching #prohabits #virtuallesson taken in Kansas City, Missouri by @pdmelgoza
