🐝 ID. Buzz & Metris Conversions
Since our inception, we've been asked, "When's the modern version of the VW camper coming to the US?" When others didn’t take the leap to create it, we decided to. In 2016, our team partnered with Mercedes to create a modern version of the iconic VW camper on the Mercedes Metris platform. With almost 1,000 Peace Vans Metris campers now on the road, it’s proven to be the perfect combination of daily driver and road-trip adventure vehicle. While Mercedes wrapped up production in 2024, we’ll continue offering upgrades and conversions on used Metris vans for many years to come.

Now, after many years of waiting, the modern VW van is finally here—and we’re excited to shift gears and start converting the ID. Buzz into an awesome camper van. We’ll offer three conversion options: a kitchen box for the rear hatch, the kitchen box + sleeper for our weekend warriors, and a full camper setup with everything you need to work, sleep, cook, and relax on the road. And we know you’re all eager to hear about the pop-top—stay tuned, it’s in the works!

🚐 Sprinter (and other Class B) Service
Building on our long relationship with Mercedes and deep experience building camper vans, Peace Vans now repairs and services the camper side of larger vans, with a focus on Sprinters. Whether it's a suspension upgrade to improve performance, interior repairs to RV components, or adding items such as roof racks, ladders, tire carriers, and more, our dedicated team of experienced technicians can make your Sprinter (or other Class B) van dreams a reality. We carry top-tier products and have a knowledgeable team of technicians. We also assist with warranty service for many major builders, such as Storyteller Overland, Winnebago Revel, and other popular Sprinter build-outs.

Need to jump-start your DIY build? Let us take on the trickier parts, such as electrical systems, heaters, pop-top installs, window installs, and more.

🌲Pacific Northwest
In 2016, Peace Vans launched one of the first small camper van rental companies in the US. It was a bit of a crazy idea then–renting vintage VW vans for trips around the Pacific Northwest. But with over 2,000 renters since then, we’ve seen it’s not such a crazy idea and is actually quite magical. Our custom-created itineraries, private campsites, curated camping kits, and more make Peace Vans Rentals truly unique in a sea of homogenous vacation choices.

Our rental fleet includes vintage Vanagons, Mercedes Metris pop-top camper vans, Sprinters, and an electric 70s-era VW bus for day trips around Seattle. Our Pacific Northwest rentals based out of Seattle have a 3-night minimum. Visit the link in our bio to see the latest prices and special offers, including one-way trips from Seattle to the location of your choice.

🌵Baja
In the spirit of innovation and with the desire to bring you unique experiences, we launched a van travel pop-up in Baja, Mexico, last year, and wow, was it fun. We provide the van, itinerary, campsites, best taco spots, and so much more. All you have to do is fly in to hit the road, and have the trip of a lifetime.

This season, we offer both self-guided and guided trips. The guided trips are two-night experiences to either whale watch or enjoy the magic of farm-to-table dining. We love the group trips because our stellar guides take care of all your meals and experiences, plus you get to travel with fellow adventurers in a caravan! 🛠️Vanagon Repair & Restoration:
Our Volkswagen Vanagon shop is where the Peace Vans story began and where much of our hearts live. Each team member drives a van (sometimes 2 or 3!), and our love for the Vanagon platform runs deep. Our technicians are able to diagnose a wide range of problems, from engine and transmission issues to electrical systems and even camper systems. We have a dedicated and knowledgeable team who can guide you in making the right short and long-term decisions for your van.

We do everything from minor maintenance for local customers to complete restoration projects for customers from all over the US. It’s not unusual for us to be working on 50+ vehicles at any given time, and we are always happy to field your inquiries, visits, and calls, helping you make Vanagon life a great life.

⚡️Electric Conversions:
Back in 2019, we began exploring what it would take to convert vintage VW buses and other air-cooled VWs to electric. We did a few in-house demo projects and loved them so much that we turned electric conversions into a fully-fledged business in 2023.

While initially focused on air-cooled VWs, we will convert the beloved Vanagon and other classic cars in the coming years. If you have an air-cooled VW that you want to explore converting, reach out to discuss a project.

Turns out, our 48-state road trip needed a little international side quest. 🇨🇦⚡️🚐

We started this journey in California with one goal: drive our electric VW ID. Buzz, Sun Buzz, through all 48 contiguous states.

Then we made it all the way to New England, looked at the map, and realized… Quebec was right there.

So obviously, we crossed the border.

Because there’s still this idea that a @peacevans electric camper van somehow limits where you can go. That long-distance EV road trips are complicated. That you have to stay close to home or build your entire trip around charging.

Meanwhile, Sun Buzz has carried us across the country, through 36 states, thousands of miles of camping, countless little towns and unexpected stops… and now across an international border.

Where should our next side quest take us?

Lots of parking everywhere but keep in mind, the lot adjacent to Lander (at 6th) is a paid lot. 6th Ave. is the best option.

Come hang with us, bring the family, bring your van if you’ve got one, and help us celebrate another year of the Peace Vans community!

Apologies to non-local folks! We know you want to hang with us and hope to hit the road again soon this fall.
