#partner Guess what? The fairytale Instagrammable trip doesn't always pan out. No matter how much you plan, I've learned on the road you quite literally, always figure out a way to make the most of it. I took time off for the first time this year & planned a PNW road trip, secured tickets to a music festival at the Gorge Amphitheatre in Washington (a venue I'd always wanted to experience) & rented a campervan for our group. Over time, the friends who committed, backed out, and me being me, I wanted to still see it through. During the festival, bad weather came in and we had to evacuate to our cars, and it rained for 24 hours straight. Tents were flooded & destroyed, and many people left the grounds & didn't attend the last day of the fest. Quite literally, having a rental made this whole experience more comfortable than it could have been and I was able to rally & enjoy the last day of the festival when the weather started to clear. Would I go back? Absolutely. And more importantly would I rent a van again, especially at the Gorge? No questions.

As a former 4 year van-lifer, when anyone asks me or mentions their curiosity about van life, my first recommendation is to rent and try it out for a weekend. You'll find out very quickly, if it's for you. Part-time or full-time. @Outdoorsy allows you the opportunity to rent from a real person whom you have a direct line of communication with during the rental process. Even the van I used to live in, was a used Outdoorsy rental. Happy to answer any questions you may have 🫶
