🎬 BLOOPER ALERT! 😂

Even the best takes don't always go to plan! Here's one of Pele's funniest behind-the-scenes moments when we were filming for the @nhs_wca bowel screening campaign.

While we had a laugh filming, there's one message we're serious about: if you're invited for bowel screening, don't put it off. It could help detect bowel cancer early, when treatment is most effective.

Watch the blooper, have a laugh, and remember to complete your test kit when it arrives.

Pedro Miguel Cardoso Monteiro AKA Pele

Pele signed for Saints in the summer of 2006 and played a vital role in the club making the playoffs where we eventually lost in that match Derby on penalties. Pele made 37 Championship appearances scoring one goal. I had a little chat to Pele to talk about his time at Southampton.

🎤 “I felt that i needed a new challenge after only ever playing in Portuguese leagues. When the opportunity came to play for Saints FC, I had no hesitation. Southampton is a big team and known well in Portugal.
I was of course nervous but really excited.

We had a great season that year with many good matches. I think my favourite was the play-off semi final, second leg away to Derby.

The team was made up of some really talented players, Wright-Philips was a great player and always positive, Nathan Dyer was a threat due to his speed, young Lallana had obvious talent, Kenwyne Jones was an insane in the air and watching Gareth Bale’s growth was amazing. Our captain Claus and Other senior players were great role models”

Thanks very much @pedropelemonteiro
