Happy International Women’s Day!!

The day started off with me feeling super exhausted from the activities of the past few days but ended on a high.

I cycled 8km to mark March 8th in celebration of all women across the globe on this special day. We are strong. We are resilient. We are more than enough.

3 half marathons in 14 days.

Looking back, it feels surreal, but the truth is that this wasn't built in 14 days. Achieving this injury free was proof of every early morning wakeup, every rainy training session, every evening gym session , and every run I have logged in the past 4 years. Every single kilometer was a building block leading up to this moment.

Crossing the finish line and earning my 10th medal this year was just a celebration of everything that came before it.

On to the next. 🥂

ABUJA TO LAGOS, WE OUTSIDE! 🏃🏾‍♂️💨✈️➡️🌴

My run club members and I took the trip from Abuja to Lagos and it was an ADVENTURE! Travel day vibes, plenty laughs, and on to the iconic LEKKI CONSERVATION CENTRE!

From walking the longest canopy walkway in Africa to connecting with nature and each other — this trip was everything we needed and more!

Run club is not just about running, it's about community, exploring, and making memories! 🫶

On October 1, 2026, at midnight, in the rain, mud and darkness, while normal humans slept, 21.1km was crushed by a group of weird beings, yours truly included. We ran varying distances between 21.1km to 100km (yes, some robots disguising as humans ran 100km).

Having ran a half marathon 4 days prior and having covered over 400km this September by running and cycling, my body was not in any way prepared for anything faster than a 7.00 pace per minute. Heck, I wasn't even sure I would finish.

At the end of it all, I completed the distance and earned my medal at 7.13/km.
