@monty.alexander’s new album “A Jamarican in Paris” is finally out !

A sparkling groove, a unique sense of melody, romantic digressions, a variety of moods and textures, abrupt shifts in style, explosive bursts of energy, more introspective passages...
In an almost telepathic rapport with the strong personalities of @jasonbrowndrums, @ldsellick and Bobby Thomas Jr., Monty Alexander plays whatever comes to mind with wild abandon 🎹

When @monty.alexander walked into @studiosextan in December 2025, he brought with him his entire incredible musical history. In a state of deep concentration and readiness, he settles in confidently at a familiar piano, alongside drummer @jasonbrowndrums, double bassist @ldsellick and especially for this session, his longtime collaborator Bobby Thomas Jr.

Seated in hyper-proximity in the studio, this unique quartet is ready to breathe, vibrate, and modulate as a single breath 🎶

📀 The result of these sessions is in Monty Alexander’s upcoming album “A Jamarican in Paris”, out on October, 2nd
