When we began composing the soundtrack for this film, we asked ourselves how we could convey its shapes, materials, and textures. The answer emerged not only through melodic and harmonic choices, but also through instrumentation. What instrument family could represent the film better than a section of woodwinds—more specifically, saxophones and flutes?

From there, the composition took shape with an almost impressionistic character, steering away from more obvious tonal patterns and aiming to evoke a sonic image rather than follow a formal harmonic progression. The arrangement followed the same pursuit, exploring unusual overlaps and layers that ultimately resulted in a unique piece written for seven saxophones—four tenors and three baritones—and two flutes. by @pegrandepro

— CARMINE - MIRAGE —

SFX is a powerful tool for storytelling — it builds atmosphere and creates impact on the audience.

In this video, we left only the sound in focus — to show the strength it brings to the narrative.

A beautiful challenge to bring this film’s sound to life, searching for organic elements and crafting a sonic environment full of nuance and detail. by @pegrandepro
