Anxiety is something that everybody goes through at some point in their lives, and it's a completely normal response to situations

However, anxiety can be overwhelming, or out of proportion to the situation, and this can have a negative impact on our everyday lives

A few days ago, we asked our friends and fellow supporters about tips on handling anxiety. We recieved such lovely messages that we had to compile them together in a post rather than just a story

⬇️Comment below what you think, what situations you feel anxious in or whether you have any more tips!!

That’s a wrap on our time at Lincluden Primary School in Dumfries.

Over the past few weeks, we’ve seen the pupils read, create, draw, develop characters, share ideas and build their own stories. The creativity and energy they brought every week made this such a fun project to deliver.
A big thank you to everyone at Lincluden Primary School for welcoming us.

What a way to kick off the project 💛

"Black Unity is so powerful that it can illuminate the whole world."

Completing this artwork was such a powerful moment, despite all the injustice our black community are facing, we turned the situation from a negative into a positive, uniting talented black artist and creators all around the world in one impactful poster.

When we initially posted our plans for producing this poster, we were overwhelmed by the response we got, from individuals suggesting artists, to artists showing a real eagerness to be involved and help create this piece. We also know a lot of people from different ethnicities, also came together for this project and for the black community in general.

Lastly, I want to give a huge thank you to all the dope, talented black creators and artist, who not only took the time to draw their leading characters for this post, but they also drew it to the position and poses we requested (for the most part 😜), within a deadline. Without you guys, this wouldn't have been possible.

Our aim is to get this out there for the people to see the talent and creativity our community possesses. Let's all share this post and promote black creativity.

Wouldn't you want to see all those characters on this poster in one epic comic story?

Penificent x Greggs Foundation 🎉

We’re proud to be working with Greggs Foundation as part of their 40th Anniversary School Awards.

Through the awards, schools were able to choose experiences that could make a positive difference for their pupils, and Penificent was selected to bring our comic book and creative storytelling workshops into schools.

Using comics, character creation and storytelling, we’ll be helping young people explore themes including self-belief, friendship, choices, respect and peer influence in a way that feels creative, engaging and relatable.

A massive congratulations to Greggs Foundation on 40 years of impact. We’re excited to be part of the journey. 🙌🏾 by @penificent

From one comic in 2019… to a universe that keeps growing. 📖🔥

KnifeBoy started with a simple aim: use storytelling to open real conversations around knife crime and young people.

Since then, the journey has taken us from our first CBBC Newsround interview, into schools, workshops and communities, and now into the next chapter of the KnifeBoy universe in 2026.

The artwork has evolved. The stories have grown. But the purpose remains the same: reach more young people and create conversations that could make a difference.

Sometimes you have to look back to realise how far you’ve come.

KnifeBoy 2 coming soon.

Anthony and Steven’s friendship began during their college days, long before they became co-founders of Penificent.

Through challenges, disagreements and achievements, they have continued to support, challenge and push each other forward.

Some friends become family. Some become brothers. 💙

Happy Friendship Day!

The story continues… and the stakes are higher.

Knifeboy 2 tackles the realities of knife crime while pushing the boundaries of creative storytelling through futuristic worlds, powerful characters and difficult choices.

Real issues.
Bold storytelling.
Serious consequences.

We can’t wait to share the next chapter.

Knifeboy 2 — coming soon. 🔥

Who is that girl? 👀

A familiar face with a much bigger role in Knifeboy 2.

Her decisions, relationships and growing rivalry become central to one of the story’s most important turning points.

She isn’t simply caught in the conflict anymore. This time, she helps shape what happens next.

Do you know who she is?

Knifeboy 2 coming soon.

Sometimes the person carrying a knife was first exposed to knife violence themselves.

In Knifeboy, we see Troy during his frightening first encounter, then later after street life has changed him. It does not excuse the harm, but it raises an important question: what happened before, and who could have stepped in?

For some young people, carrying a knife can feel like protection. Sadly, it can continue the same cycle of fear and violence.

As we prepare for Knifeboy 2, we will continue exploring trauma, choices and consequences through honest, relatable storytelling.
