Join U.S. Senate candidate Dr. Annie Andrews and Southern Charm’s Whit Slagsvol for Progressive Pours, part happy hour, part meet-and-greet and part local-TV throwback. But at this telethon, our operators are not standing by. We’re making calls to remind Charleston that early voting begins October 19.

Meet Annie. Have a drink. Make a few calls. Post a voting reminder. Text your friends. Grab a yard sign. Or just get in the room and help us light up the board.

WE INTERRUPT YOUR REGULARLY SCHEDULED SCROLL FOR A SPECIAL REPORT.

Don’t touch that dial! The local telethon is back. But this time, the calls are going out.

The night before early voting begins, Pen Dems will turn Park & Grove into a live, local get-out-the-vote studio.

Together, we can ✊🏼

Feeling nervous about midterms? Don’t panic! We just need to organize. Come out with us this Saturday at 10am for Walking Club and knock on some doors 🚪 Link in bio!!

P.S. this design was inspired by the street art “Do Not Panic, Organize” by Jack Halten Fahnestock. The phrase is thought to be derived from American songwriter and union organizer Joe Hill upon his death: “Don’t mourn, organize!” taken in Charleston, South Carolina by @peninsula_dems

We’re taking over Bay Street Biergarten for lunch and a conversation with Rahm Emanuel, one of the most influential and famously unfiltered voices in the Democratic Party.

Sign up via link in our bio!

Rahm has seen modern Democratic politics from just about every angle. He was an adviser to President Clinton, member of Congress, chief of staff to President Obama, mayor of Chicago and U.S. ambassador to Japan.

Lately, he’s been making waves again with a steady run of blunt arguments about where Democrats go next: rebuild the middle class, get serious about education and affordability, clean up government and speak like normal people. He is not exactly known for holding back. He joined Pen Dems for a meeting earlier this year, and we’re happy to welcome him back.

Join Pen Dems for a Friday lunch and a real conversation with someone who has been in the room for some of the biggest political moments of the last 30 years and has plenty to say about the future.

Space is limited. RSVP via link in bio or on mobilize.com. by @peninsula_dems

But first, online voter registration closes tonight, Sunday, October 4, at 11:59 PM. Register at the link in our bio.

And a huge thank you to our photographer @elle.kaminski and our DJ @djblacksmith1 for keeping the energy high. taken in Charleston, South Carolina by @peninsula_dems
