📣EVENT: It’s not everyday that you get to hear the harrowing tales of a successful CEO who once suffered from an opioid addiction.

We tend not to speak about addiction in our community. The CEO of Penny Appeal Canada, Fawad Kalsi wants to break that barrier by speaking about his own struggles with an addiction that almost cost him his life.

Joining him will be. Dr. Farhan Chak, who escaped the gang life and went onto become a successful Professor.

Their message is simple: If you are afflicted by addiction or gang life, there is hope. There is a way out.

🖊️ Register now. Dates and locations will be coming soon. Get ready for an event you won’t want to miss!

The first 1,000 days can shape a lifetime. 🤍

From pregnancy to a child’s second birthday, the right care can make a lasting difference. Prenatal care, proper nutrition, breastfeeding support, and newborn healthcare all help give children a healthier start.

Through our maternal health programs, Penny Appeal Canada supports mothers and babies during these crucial early years.

Three years. 💔

🇵🇸The people of Palestine have suffered through three years of a brutal and violent onslaught of proportions we cannot begin to imagine.

With virtually the entire population of Gaza displaced, suffering disturbing levels of food and water insecurity, along with an entire healthcare system that has collapsed, it’s often difficult to fathom.

The strength the people of Gaza have demonstrated humbles us every single day.

Our Gaza Emergency Response has become the longest-running emergency response in Penny Appeal Canada’s history.

Because of you, the people of Gaza received:

🏥 890 life-saving surgeries
🍼 1,550 tins of baby formula
🥕 35,550 fruit and vegetable packs
🍲 163,485 hot meals
💧 3,852,100 litres of clean water
...and so much more.

Every one of these numbers is a person you have helped.

We will always stand with the people of Palestine. Their suffering hasn’t ended, and neither has their hope.

Please keep the people of Palestine in your duas

“This place changed me forever. I’ve never been so broken.. yet so inspired at the same time, to make real change. My intentions are renewed again.

I hope you’re ready to see what we witnessed here in
Syria.”
