some of my favorite indie oop + special editions i’ve collected over the years 📚 mostly fantasy, romance, dystopian, and gothic fic

i rated all of these books 4 and 5 stars 🌟 i can’t recommend them enough! the only two i haven’t read yet are king of ravens, and verity guild, so if you’ve read them, please hype them up!

gods & monsters ⚔️ by @amber.v.nicole 🖤
+ some of my favorite quotes from the series

i’ll never forget reading this series for the first time. dianna’s journey, her found family, her devotion, and the way these two love each other despite everything thrown at them is actually incomparable.

these were a birthday gift to myself that shipped early! ty @the.arcane.society <3

QOTD: i’m curious, who are your favorite g&m characters? 😏

📓 book reviews
of blood and aether & of lust and lunacy ❤️‍🔥
by my fav @harperhawthorne

rereading of blood and aether had me in my feeeels 🥹 these two are my soul characters. this book will always mean so much to me! tandem reading along with of lust and lunacy was such an emotional journey, i highly recommend if you’re looking for a fantasy romance filled with banter, tension, mutual yearning, and secrets 👀

• dual pov
• slow burn
• audhd rep
• bisexual rep
• trainer x trainee
• lover girl x lover boy
• friends to lovers with LOTS of tension

of lust and lunacy 📖 arc review ★★★★★
obsessed is an understatement!! i will never get enough of these two! olal is book 1.5 in the harbingers series and takes place over one week in between the events of chapters 56 & 57 in of blood and aether. you can choose to read this after obaa, or tandem read which i highly recommend for a more emotional impact 😏 this book is definitely more romance forward, and no one writes spice like harper imo ❤️‍🔥 it’s also full of world building and lore that definitely helped fuel the plot, and builds so much anticipation for book two!

of lust and lunacy is releasing in FOUR DAYS 😍 on april 27, 2026! by @peppers.library
