Bringing a little alternative design to Vogue’s bridal campaign. Massive thank you to @tommoorestudios who has been there for me and my crazy ideas since day 1. His photography from this photoshoot is absolutely stunning and is now in VOGUE! Modeled by the one and only @bella.mattera and hair styled by one of my best friends Maddie @wedluxebridalbeauty.

Ahhh!!!! Extremely excited and proud to say Percacciolo Collection is the Designer Spotlight for @rocknrollbridemagazine September/October Issue 🎉

The feature covers my new Midnight Blooms Collection and the inspiration behind it. I absolutely adore this magazine. It’s one of those moments where I have to stop and think, wow… this actually happened 🥹

As an independent designer, I’ve poured my heart and soul into creating alternative pieces for those who want something a little different, rebellious, and completely their own. A reflection of who I am and the voice I silenced for far too long. I can’t put into words just how grateful I am to see this collection featured in a magazine that celebrates being authentically yourself. Kat, thank you SO MUCH for letting be apart of this🥹🙏

What does bridal fashion look like when a designer stops being afraid to show the darker side of her style?

For Nicole Percacciolo, it looks like vintage lace, hand-dyed details, floral appliqués and haunting silhouettes.

Her latest @percacciolocollection, Midnight Blooms, was created in response to the speed and constant consumption of modern life. Inspired by floral forms, aged trees and the contrast between light and shadow, it takes the softness of traditional bridal and pulls it somewhere darker.

Every veil and accessory is handmade in Nicole’s Beacon, New York studio, with lace dyed in small batches and appliqués individually cut and stitched.

There is something beautiful about things that bloom in the dark.
Flowers that wait for moonlight. Petals that open when the world has gone quiet. Beauty that might not be seen or understood by everyone, just like the alternative bride.

The concept of this collection flows from the idea that beauty doesn’t have to happen in the expected light, in the expected way, or according to someone else’s definition of what a bride should be. Midnight Blooms is a celebration of that kind of beauty.

Each veil is handmade in small batches, varying in material from vintage lace, hand dyed designs to midnight black and custom floral lace details. Nothing is mass produced.
Some of the most beautiful things bloom where you least expect them. In the dark, under moonlight, in their own time and in their own way.
