What does bridal fashion look like when a designer stops being afraid to show the darker side of her style? For Nicole Percacciolo, it looks like vintage lace, hand-dyed details, floral appliqués and haunting silhouettes. Her latest @percacciolocollection, Midnight Blooms, was created in response to the speed and constant consumption of modern life. Inspired by floral forms, aged trees and the contrast between light and shadow, it takes the softness of traditional bridal and pulls it somewhere darker. Every veil and accessory is handmade in Nicole’s Beacon, New York studio, with lace dyed in small batches and appliqués individually cut and stitched. This one is for the couples who want a wedding that is bold, artistic and combines London landmarks and nightlife #nearlywed #engaged Nestled in the heart of a major European graffiti hub, you will discover @26leakestreet. Our vision was to balance raw urban character with alt elegance. Minimal decoration was required to showcase the exposed brick, graffiti, and architecture of the historical arches. Injecting vibrant pink and red into the dark underground space created a striking contrast, enhancing the light and allowing each element to complement the other. The results brought bold yet balanced styling.  We took a short walk under the arches to the iconic brutalist buildings of the South Bank Centre. Defined by its raw exposed concrete and sculpture designs, this grand monumental backdrop gave our Bride and Groom endless striking photo opportunities.  The overall feel is edgy yet elegant; A mix of London's underground art scene with a stylish, modern alternative wedding celebration. We recommended and work collaboratively with high level wedding vendors and artists. I have nothing to say except for @percacciolocollection is a design genius and I was so honored she wanted to be a part of my last retreat and I’ll be so happy to be inviting her back on our team for our next one in 2027. Nothing is set in stone yet, but I do know this isn’t the last time I will be showcasing her designs. They are absolutely gorgeous in every way imaginable and I love that she was kind enough to send her latest drop all the way from NY for my project. My students aren’t just getting mentorship from me, they are getting designs that cannot be repeated. Looks that aren’t anywhere else. I want my retreats to feel like their own world and this was just another example of that. Her veils create a gorgeous moody energy that cannot be repeated and I HAD to have this energy at my PNW retreat, so I sent her the “hey girl” message, and we realized that our creative energy matches so so well. She creates these veils hand-sewn (and has some other alternative fashion pieces as well) and I just knew my PNW brides would be obsessed with her work.
