Has your cycle become so unpredictable that you genuinely do not know what your body is doing anymore?
Nobody talks about this. We are changing that with @perinotcrazy. Links are currently in bio.

How many women in your family were falling apart on the inside while looking completely fine on the outside? A fuera se ven Put together. Makeup on. Hair done. Dress good.

That is the generation we come from. Women who carried everything in silence. Who internalized every struggle. Who showed up for everybody else and asked for nothing in return.

We learned from them. So when things got hard we did the same and held it in. Treated our partners badly. Told ourselves they just had to deal with it.

@Perinotcrazy said he does not have to deal with it. And I should not have to deal with it alone either.
Figure it out together.

To the mom who yelled and then cried about it in the bathroom.. This is for you.

El momento pasó. You did it. It happened. And now you give yourself grace and you keep going.

But @Perinotcrazy said something on our new episode that we need every mami to hear : if you do not take care of yourself who is going to take care of them when you fall apart?

Solo movies. Solo walks. Open the window. Let the light in. The kids are going to be okay. We all grew up with mami gritando. That is normal. That is human.
Just find yourself.

Are the men in your life educated about perimenopause or are they getting their information from AI videos telling them it is not real? @perinotcrazy said it and we needed to hear it said out loud.

Educate yourselves.

Not from a sixty second video. Not from AI content designed to dismiss what women are experiencing. The same way the women going through this are doing the research, talking to doctors, piecing it together themselves... the men who love them need to do the same.

Your partner deserves to be believed and belief starts with education.

How long did you dismiss your symptoms before you finally started looking for real answers?

Sticky notes everywhere. Reminders on her phone for things she used to remember without thinking. A growing fear that something was seriously wrong.

@Perinotcrazy told herself it was postpartum. Her brain had just shrunk after giving birth.. that is actually normal BTW, but the forgetting did not stop. and the fear kept growing.

So she started doing her research. She started talking to different doctors and what she found changed everything.

Why do we know everything about pregnancy and almost nothing about perimenopause, even though both change your life completely? The conversation nobody is having.

Your hormones are shifting. Your sleep is affected. Your mood. Your sex drive. Your relationship. Your whole sense of self. Most women find out what is happening to them years after it already started because nobody talks about perimenopause the way they talk about postpartum or pregnancy.

We are having that conversation with @PeriNotCrazy on our new episode and it is long overdue. Episode is out now and the links are in bio. ☕

#Perimenopause #perinotcrazy by @perinotcrazy

Millions of women are in perimenopause right now. Almost nobody talks about it.

Yasiel refused to stay quiet. She thought she was going crazy because of Brain fog, rage, insomnia, night sweats right after giving birth. Doctors kept saying it was normal. Until one Google search changed everything.

Now she’s built PeriNotCrazy, a community for women to laugh, learn, and realize they’re not losing their minds. Because the conversation our mothers never had? Someone needs to start it.

You’re not broken. You’re transitioning and you’re not doing it alone.

Go follow @PeriNotCrazy. Listen to the episode today after 10am !

I owe myself so much more than THIS!
I’ve been so lost lately not really caring about what I eat. Forgetting to take my vitamins. Start and stopping I honestly don’t even know how many times @ the gym. Paying memberships I don’t even use!!!!

Well I am DONE! The best version of myself starts NOW! Come walk this journey with me 🥹🤗🙏🏽

Before we get started, I want to make something very clear: I am not a doctor or medical professional, and I am not here to diagnose, treat, or provide medical advice for perimenopause or any other medical condition.

Everything I share through PeriNotCrazy, my podcast, my book, and my social media is based on my personal experience and my journey through perimenopause, along with information I’ve learned along the way.

My goal is to share my story, create awareness, start conversations, and remind other women that they are not alone.

Every woman’s body and experience are different, so please speak with your doctor or qualified healthcare provider about your symptoms and what treatment or care may be right for you.

I’m simply sharing my story—woman to woman. 💕 by @perinotcrazy

I can’t even explain how surreal this feels. What started as me trying to understand what the heck was happening to my own body has turned into something so much bigger than me.

I created PeriNotCrazy because I was tired of women feeling like they were losing their minds when really… WE’RE TRANSITIONING.

And now I get to tell my story OUT LOUD. 🎙️

We’re talking about the brain fog, the rage, the anxiety, the sleepless nights, marriage, sex, motherhood, being dismissed, and ALL the things women whisper about but rarely say out loud.

This one is for every woman who has ever Googled her symptoms at 3AM wondering, “WHAT IS HAPPENING TO ME?!” 😂😭

You are NOT crazy. You are NOT alone. And we’re finally talking about it.

🎧 Season 2, Episode 5 airs this TUESDAY!! 10/6

Thank you to my girls @uptownmamisnyc for making this possible 💞

Go listen, share it with another woman who needs to hear it, and come join me at @PeriNotCrazy. 💗

This is only the beginning. 🥹🎙️✨
