2015 was the first AAP Annual Meeting I attended as a new resident. ⠀
⠀
Fast forward to 2024 …I had the honor of sharing a few moments about opening a “start from scratch” perio practice in the 🤍 of San Diego with residents and new periodontists @ the annual AAP conference.
⠀
THANK YOU all so much for the support and attendance; and thank you to all those that helped me BTS prepare.
⠀
I hope my message of: Have the tenacity and find the grit to push forward in your perio journey..no matter the path you choose..it’s not easy and there’s no right or wrong answer..Shined through.
⠀
Until the next time we all meet.. I’m always a PM, zoom, or voice memo away. ⠀

October 1- the BIRTHDAY countdown is ON.

In TEN days i’ll be 39… In honor of my last year in my thirties I’m creating a 🪣 bucket list & making all my dreams come true.

One new bucket list ✅ each month.

This month—I’m going to re-learn how to read 🎶 music. It’s been many many years since I played the piano or sang, but I know I can re-tap that part of my brain.

My goal is to learn how to play an instrument. Follow along as I check them off. What’s on your bucket list? 👇🏼✨🪣 taken in San Diego, California by @perio.princess

⁣Recently‎ I‎ had‎ someone‎ show‎ up‎ for‎ an‎ interview‎ with‎ coffee‎ in‎ hand.‎
⁣
⁣☕️‎ Is‎ it‎ professional‎ to‎ show‎ up‎ to‎ a‎ job‎ (or‎ dental‎ school)‎ interview‎ with‎ coffee?‎
⁣
⁣It‎ could‎ be‎ perceived‎ as‎ not‎ taking‎ the‎ interview‎ seriously.‎ Coffee‎ could‎ be‎ a‎ distraction,‎ get‎ spilled,‎ and‎ prevent‎ you‎ from‎ shaking‎ hands.‎
⁣
⁣On‎ the‎ other‎ hand…‎ maybe‎ you’ll‎ be‎ more‎ alert‎ during‎ the‎ interview‎ with‎ a‎ coffee‎ to‎ drink?
⁣
⁣Five‎ stars‎ ✨‎ for‎ the‎ creativity‎ of‎ the‎ applicant‎ because‎ the‎ coffee‎ was‎ for‎ a‎ gift‎ for‎ me,‎ not‎ them!‎
⁣
⁣Shout‎ out‎ to‎ Archie‎ Dental‎ for‎ the‎ #gifted‎ espresso‎ machine.‎ taken in Pacific Beach - San Diego, CA by @perio.princess
