What a wonderful weekend speaking at the Women in Perio Conference! Thank you, Dr. Yvette Corrillo @perio.princess , for your kind invitation. I have always admired your vision, and it was amazing to see this incredible group of accomplished women periodontists you have brought together. It’s cool to have a job you love. It’s even cooler to love it so much that you spend your own time and money just to be in rooms that light you up. Women in Perio 2026 hosted by @perio.princess and @scrubs.scalpels.seminars brought me to a city I’d never been to learn from leading women in my field and honestly just have the most fun. You can always tell when women plan events. The attention to detail, the style, the intentional effort to make every single person feel welcomed and encouraged to actually enjoy themselves. Unmatched every time. I am so grateful to be at a point in my career where work and play genuinely merge. Where I get to explore a new city before a conference, drop into a random rowing club, eat incredible meals, drink things I cannot properly conjugate 😂, learn from brilliant speakers, and walk away with new friendships that feel like they were always supposed to happen. Here is to more of all of it. More cities. More women-centered professional spaces. More days that make you forget you are technically working. 🩷 #WomenInDentistry #WomenInPerio #SocialSmileNetwork
