White City, by Javier Arreguin. Originally from Ecatepec, Mexico, Arreguin is a multidisciplinary artist whose latest body of work is shaped by his experience living in White City, Florida. Drawing inspiration from the surrounding landscape, labor, and family, he explores the environment through an unconventional approach to printmaking. Using Styrofoam boxes and watercolor paper, he creates monotype prints that reimagine traditional subject matter through using non traditional art making materials and processes. Join us for the opening reception: Saturday, 10.24.26 6-10pm Music: @indecentesound by @personalrecord.gallery

Overwhelmed with gratitude 🖤 Thank you to everyone who came by the opening for The Grand Performance this past weekend! This was my first solo show and a brand new direction for my work, so yes it was scary, but each of you made it special. Hearing people open up through the theme and conversations was especially inspiring to witness. The exhibit will be on view now until October 17 at @personalrecord.gallery Big thank you to @rickyinretrograde for inviting me to show work. And also a big thank you to the people who collaborated with me to make all of this happen: @personalrecord.gallery @photoandstudio @los_maniacos_official @campanastudios @pageartprojects @bluecactusprinting Beautiful film photos by @fotosby_mari Slides 10-12 by @andrewdue by @personalrecord.gallery

Join us Saturday September 19th for the opening reception of The Grand Performance, new works by @josiemarlyn The Grand Performance introduces new works by Josie Marlyn Gomez that reflect on ego death, rebirth, and the weight of grief. Through recurring patterns and cinematic references, Gomez builds a rupture in her generational lineage. The friction between putting up a shield and allowing for vulnerability is portrayed through masquerade. The exhibition features a hand-crafted mask carved by Álvaro Octavio Muñoz Scott from Jalpa, Zacatecas, the hometown of the artist’s family. Through unmasking and honoring past identities, the work strips away societal expectations, revealing that true liberation lies within confronting the self. @josiemarlyn On view September 19-October 17, 2026 Special thanks to @Campanastudios for their major support in this exhibition. We invited valentina azul @vandalismo.simbolico in advance of her solo show Columpios, for a recorded discussion with @carljungle and @rickyinretrograde. We toss around some related concepts, toying with constraint and getting serious about play. A few guests appearances including @bilalbikile of @deixisgallery . An hour and a half of ideological building blocks, rolling the dice, reading the cards and adjusting the goal posts. Free access on this one, a free for all. Have fun! Find it linked in our Patreon on our page. If you enjoy what we do, consider subscribing to our Patreon to get more content like this and to help us produce more. Some sweet moments captured by our friends @photoandstudio from our last exhibition “The flower you love is not in danger” featuring selected artworks by second and third grade students from @monarchschool. Thank you to everyone who came out to help make this exhibition so memorable. We’re especially grateful to @xxareni who’s guidance, encouragement, and dedication helped bring this work to life. Special thanks to @bereissa.co for making sure all the student work was framed beautifully and to @havilanders for the beautiful flower arrangements! We feel incredibly fortunate to be connected to such a thoughtful and generous community who not only show up to support the artist but who continue to believe and support what we do here at personal record gallery! by @personalrecord.gallery
