Capybaras are having a major moment online, but it's important to remember that animals aren't trends! These curious individuals have their own lives, friendships, and interests. Here's how to appreciate capybaras the kind way:

❤️ Support accredited wildlife sanctuaries that prioritize animals’ well-being.
📚 Learn from a distance by watching documentaries and reading books about capybaras.
📍 Never visit places that exploit animals, such as circuses with animal acts, roadside zoos, and marine parks.

DYK that male chicks in the egg industry are killed shortly after hatching because the industry only profits from hens who lay eggs? 😥 Choosing vegan foods helps spare animals from this cruelty. From tofu scramble to Just Egg, there are plenty of delicious animal-friendly breakfast options to try! 💛 #WorldEggDay by @petakids

Frogs belong in ponds, streams, and wetlands, not on dissection trays! 🚫✂️🐸 Every year, many frogs are taken from their natural homes and killed to be used in classroom dissections. Nothing about that is okay 💔 Thankfully, kids can learn about science in ways that are kind to animals by using realistic models, computer programs, videos, and other humane learning tools instead. by @petakids

Animals may come in all shapes, sizes, and species, but they all have something in common: they want to be safe, happy, and free from harm 💚🐭🦇🦨🕷️ #NationalBeNiceDay by @petakids
