Such an honor to receive my Black Belt!

I have been extremely lucky and blessed to be part of a great team and to have the greatest training partners and coaches I could ever ask for.

This team has truly become an extended part of my family. I am so thankful for their time and friendships over the years. This sport and community have introduced me to some of the best people on planet Earth.

It was great to have Womack- The man that helped me get this journey started! Along with Randy and Nick who were there from day 1.

I’m thankful to Rick for being not only a coach and teammate over the years, but also a mentor and, most importantly, a friend. Not much time passes without a text or call just to check in-
Thanks to Brian! A coach, “little brother”, and friend!
There’s no way I can thank everyone who has played a part in this journey—so many great people have been there for me, and I truly appreciate them all.

However, none of this would have been possible without an incredible support system at home. I have the best family in the world—they support me and allow me to do what I love.

The amount of phone calls, texts, and messages congratulating me over the last couple of days, not only from MMA Institute, from other gyms as well!! It is such an honor to be surrounded by so many amazing people in my life.

I cant say how proud I am of Chase ! One of the toughest weight classes in the region and state..
He gets tired of hearing this.. 150 lbs as a 14 year old freshman is as tough as it gets.

Wrestling surpasses all other sports in its requirements for both mental fortitude and physical endurance. No sport compares.. NOT EVEN CLOSE

Happy Birthday @mma_institute Rick Mccoy!!
Ive known this guy for nearly 3 decades! — and taken a lot of ass whippings on the mat and in the ring by this fella !! 🤣
- MMA would not be where it is today in the state of VA without this guy.. So many wild rides along the way-
Training partner/Coach and MOST importantly one of the best friends Ive ever had .. Hope today was great my brotha!! All the love in the world !! by @pete_jitsu
