Yesterday @campsusque posted an awesome, well edited, and beautiful video featuring autumn scenes at Susque. @saltyjo.art did a really good job with it, and had great music to go along with the mood. One fatal flaw. It was made for mobile, so everything was portrait orientation. Of course, that makes sense...probably 99% of people were looking at it on their phone.
I, however, would like to release the following full-frame 4k landscape video of the colors around Susque from above. The following is some sped up, jerky, dizziness inducing, unfiltered drone footage with no cool music or reasonable editing decisions. Enjoy these 90 seconds of aerial footage of foliage! #saythatfivetimesfast #foliage #Autumn #loyalsockstateforest by @peter.swift

Went for a walk tonight to enjoy the incredible display of stars and the milky way, and was surprised and impressed by the crazy display of lights in the grass. It looked like tons of fireflies everywhere, but not blinking. Anyone know what these bugs are? Sadly they were barely bright enough to show up in pictures.

Found this in a book. A bus trip with WRAK 1400 "The Newstalk Network" to the Philadelphia Phillies at Veteran’s stadium for my birthday on June 11th back in 1994. With the venerable Ken Sawyer no less! Lenny Dykstra, Mickey Morandini, Dave Hollins, John Kruk, Darren Daulton, Mitch Thompson, Kevin Stocker….

The Phils lost to the Cardinals, but I did get to see Ozzie Smith play short stop, and got to see a Darren Daulton HR. I think the bus trip home was the longest vehicle ride of my life… by @peter.swift
