Vittoria Assembri
is a sound artist and researcher whose practice lies at the intersection of sound art, radio art, and public architecture. She conducts research based on deep listening and field recording, drawing on feminist, ecological, and situated perspectives, and explores marginalized sociocultural processes and archives to reconfigure an affective and political landscape of resistance and radical imagination.

Mizuki Ishikawa
is a Berlin based sound artist. In her improvisations, she treats the acoustics of an environment using everyday objects and feedbacks from DIY electronics. Doing so, she explores the specific aswell as the conventional conditions of a performance through simple gestures and ordinary activities. Mizuki aims to integrate the space, the audience, herself and time into a cohesive experience.

Manuel Carbone
is a sound experimentalist and noise artist, guided by a profound fascination for the rawest aspects of acousmatic music. In his practice Manuel embraces errors, glitches, and distortions as essential elements to challenge auditory perceptions. His sonic palette is diverse, weaving together found, synthesized and fieldrecorded sounds and cassette loops.

Followed by a session featuring all of the evening's artists, including host Peter Strickmann by @peter_strickmann

Savić & REONA

Grgur Savić - reeds
REONA - metal tap dance

Grgur Savić and REONA met on stage in Berlin for the first time in December 2025. Both
share an interest in sound emerging through body, object, voice, and gesture. Their performances unfold as a shifting field between raw energy and subtle moments within
pure improvisation.
If you love spirit, tap dance, saxophone, fragile moments, tension, and don’t mind a bit of
playful chaos, things being thrown around the space, they would love to come and play
for you.

-

Peter Strickmann - til it tilts - objects, winds, feedback

„If it is not my installations that are performing, I like to take the sounds into my own hands, move them and observe their behaviour in place, time and sociality. It is always a way of dealing with the acoustic, social and sudden activities and potentials of a place, using my tools and the found stimuli in situ.“ In my performances I work with an array of custom-built wind and percussion instruments, objects, and feedback manipulations. For this performances, I carefully and secretly prepare the concert space in advance with quasi-magic tricks, playful surprises, and a bucketful of absent sounds—setting the stage for a music that exists somewhere between miniature object theater, musical improvisation, and collective listening exercise, always marked by a simplicity of means and a deep sense of community.

Incoming
Pacho Dávila - sax
Jeff Platz - guitar
Vasco Furtado - drums

Incoming is a free, improvised gathering of Boston-based American guitarist Jeff Platz, Cologne-based Colombian tenor saxophonist Pacho Dávila, and Portuguese drummer Vasco Furtado. The trio relies on intense, urgent, and uncompromising dynamics, tirelessly and relentlessly pushing into the most extreme sonic worlds. Dávila’s tenor saxophone introduces playful, melodic elements, often only as brief openings, but Platz’s powerful guitar playing and Furtado’s drumming transform these gestures into a fiery, dissonant storm at every performance.

(noticing and)
OBSERVING THE AVOIDANCE OF PRODUCING A SOUND.

Note:
In so many moments of my everyday life, I find myself reflecting on the idea of ‘listening through the ears of others’ which could be a form of respect in action and a manifestation of an attentive living together, in one way or another... it turns out that this reflection is with me for years - both consiously and unnoticed - and that it leads my thoughts to every corner of our social life.

Not least because, several times a day, I step on a very specific spot on the wooden floor of our flat. It creaks particularly beautifully and audibly in that spot. And depending on the time of day and whether my loved ones are present, I observe my avoidance of producing this sound. It is the one example, this one daily encounter with this sound, that triggers my thinking the most... thank you, dear floor... And I wonder what sounds do other people live with, that they try to avoid daily, regularly, by night, always, once, etc.

mhhhhhhh
