From 1969 until 1993 I lived over the family wine shop in a rent controlled apartment. My father would call me downstairs to meet unusual friends and customers if I was around. There was always an open bottle on offer in his private office separated from the store itself. #sherrylehmann #bordeauxchronicle #vendomepress #janeanson taken in Madison Ave, Upper East Side by @peteraaron

In 1969 the vineyard cellars were basic. The floors were earth and the walls moldy. The workers clothes were uniform lacking much color. The men wore berets and smoked cigarettes. Now the cellars are bright and shiny designed by name architects. I shot this photograph at Chåteau Guiraud in Sauternes. #chateauguiraud #bordeauxchronicle #vendomepress #janeanson by @peteraaron

Some people get a case of Bordeaux delivered to their door. I got 1,400 pounds of Bordeaux—enough to make my living room legally qualify as a warehouse. 🍷📚 #https://www.vendomepress.com/products/bordeaux-chronicle #bordeauxchronicle #vendomepress #janeanson taken in Hudson, New York by @peteraaron
