On the left corner, the new Patek Philippe Cubitus with olive green dial. Nominally 45mm square. On the right is the uncle, my Nautilus in blue dial, nominally 43mm. The Cubitus need to be seen in the flesh, and handled. Much more dimensioned and nuanced than the infamous photograph suggests.

Masterpiece #itscomplicated - the Voutilainen Détente Escapement Tourbillon Wristwatch. Piece unique.

The Kari dial is a work of art. But for me the magic is when you flip the watch over. The movement is magnificent and breath taking. The main plate, in untreated German Silver, covers and supports the entire wheel train. An one arm cock supports the tourbillon, anchored with a very traditionally styled plate. Finishing is exceptional.

#itscomplicated with this magnificent Breguet Tradition 7067. The open dial style attracts many but not for everybody. Is it for you?

I photographed this recently at the Breguet boutique. Hasselblad H3D-39 with HC 4/120 andvHC 2.8/80 with H28. Profoto strobes.
