Ice blue has landed at Glashütte. Still, the now-popular colour palette has received the Nomos treatment, applied to two new Metros.

Powered by a new hand-wound movement with a visible power reserve gauge on the dial, the Metro Date Power Reserve Ice Blue features the 52-hour power reserve DUW4701 calibre in a 37 mm case that is just 8.0 mm high.

If you’re in love with the Metro neomatik 41 Update instead, the newer variant adds a more sophisticated touch.

Nomos Glashütte has worked relentlessly to elevate its timepieces, and the ice blue models revealed at the Nomos Forum prove they put hard work into every new model and the tiniest detail, even when, on paper, it looks like a colour upgrade or change.

Congratulations @horobox @quantumuhren on such a beautiful event @istanbulwatchfestival impeccably organised from start to finish. Thank you for the incredible hospitality and for having us part of the festival.

As unique as this watch is, you @soalfb are truly one of a kind. And you absolutely stole the show! What a superstar!

I’m genuinely humbled to call you a brother, and it was beautiful to witness the admiration and respect the Istanbul watch community has for you. It says so much about the person you are and the relationships you’ve built. Glad to see that dream of yours come to reality.

Istanbul, you’ve been wonderful. Until we meet again!

Today we observe 25 years since the passing of one of the horological world’s most iconic and visionary leaders – Günter Blümlein. Link in bio has more.

Attending Bangkok Watch Week this year was a truly exceptional experience. Beyond exploring stunning novelties and rare horological creations, the real highlight was the opportunity to reconnect with the people who make this community so vibrant.
It was wonderful seeing so many familiar faces and reuniting with old friends—some of whom I had not seen in over two decades. Catching up, sharing stories, and catching the passion for fine watchmaking together felt as seamless as no time had passed. Equally exciting was making new connections across the industry with fellow collectors and enthusiasts. Moments like these remind me that horology is as much about meaningful relationships as it is about timepieces.
