The Wild Angels ride tonight. A film that might be considered a celebration of rape. But only fully dressed rape to appease the censors. #wildangels #bikerexploitation #hollywood #badbikers #sexdrugsandrocknroll by @peterlloydjones

I’ve reached the age of anxiety. I saw a George Harrison video recently in which he shared his surprise at what he thought as an old person (Though sadly for him not ever was he old enough.), which surprised him by being the same things he thought in his late teens. But me being yet older than he ever was, I am confronted with thoughts about how close I now am to death’s door, regardless if I harness in my risky lifestyle. Death is no longer an obscure possibility, it is just a number of blocks away, possibly so close I could bicycle, or even hike, there. I’ve witnessed physical and mental degradations. I still live actively, but the costs have increased. The results of my recent physical were exceptional… for someone my age. I can see that the downward tread is steepening each day. I am the aging aged. I am paying more and more for my reckless lifestyle, yet without a bother of regrets. Even so, no amount of purpose matters to the fragility of life. Each day I share a work of art from my deceased friend, reminding me over and over of the thief who robs from every human and who will eventually rob from each of us. I am my own diminishing return. Simply, for me this thief is no longer abstract. But until I see his shadow, I adjust, I beat back ceaselessly against the tide, I tend to my garden. #happybirthday #dontgosoftly #candideslament by @peterlloydjones
