Absolutely love sailing with our Oxley, today sailed 100-120AWA in 11-17tws and happily doing 6-10kts... We had a lovely crossing to Martinique from Barbados. Pre-dawn start under a full moon, to brillant sunrise followed by a beautiful finish flying the Oxley from 930 - 430, would have been perfect if we caught a nice fish. #oxleylevante taken in Sainte-Anne, Martinique by @petersedivec

I've been snorkeling/diving since I was a little kid but only in the past few weeks have I really explored the underworld as a freediver. For as long as I can remember once I go down I feel this immediate urge to breath and dives would be 20-30 seconds long.

Sage's interest has gotten me intrigued and practicing free diving and I'm now able to do 90+ second dives. It's an incredible world where it feels like time slows down and everything is surreal. I have observed some of the coolest little fish and sea life in the past few weeks diving.

Since starting this cruising life I've learned to wingfoil, slack line and now freedive. Loving the new adventures. taken in Speightstown, Barbados by @petersedivec

Sage has always had a passion for the water and swimming but since we started this adventure she's gained a big appreciation and desire or freedive. Watching her dive and explore this wreck in 50ft of water was so cool. I'm proud of her and she's a far better diver than I was at 14 taken in Speightstown, Barbados by @petersedivec

Well, that's a wrap. Crossing complete! There's always the one that got away that you'll ponder and wonder... What if... Unfortunately on this trip there were several that got away. This one after an hour fight the leader broke at the hook, so on the positive, I didn't lose the lure, just the hook, on the downside, yet another fish that I didn't land. We hit 2 school of bluefin on the crossing. First school we had 4 lines in the water, landed a small 5kg one, fought a bigger one for 20 mins and lost it, the other two lures were bit right off, one when Steven was pulling a handline in. Second5tm school we only had 2 rods in, both hit, one snapped immediately and then this fish that got away. Score: Courage 1 Bluefin 5. Oh well, wasn't meant to be. I am grateful for all the action we had, most days we put lines out something was biting and or we landed a fish. taken in North Atlantic Ocean by @petersedivec

So proud to watch our daughter grow into a young adult as she continues to pursue her passion in music and willing to perform for strangers, friends and family alike. This afternoon we were in Sisters, Oregon for my nieces wedding rehearsal dinner and the band playing at the venue took a break and Sage went up and performed 3 of her songs like a rock star. taken in The Barn in Sisters by @petersedivec

Loving the underwater lights that now are scheduled to go on 15m after sunset for 2 hrs. Rolled into this anchorage at night and dropped anchor in 2.5m sand, helpful for night anchoring too. Not the most practical boat upgrade but a lot of fun taken in Stintino Spiaggia La Pelosa - Sardegna by @petersedivec

It's been one week since we arrived in Greece. We have been enjoying some beautiful anchorages. A few of favorite spots, Lakka on Paxos, Blue Cave on Paxos, Mesovrika on AntiPaxos and finally Abelike Bai Est on Meganisi.... All have been amazing but Mesovrika was swarmed with tourist boats from 10-3, every hour a new boat or two would pull in and unload a boat full of tourists. Fortunately we were tucked in close to the beach so they kept their distance but weren't shy with other cruisers parking right alongside them. We also had our friend Dave visiting for the week and we dropped him off in Preveza a couple nights ago. by @petersedivec
