This piece took me three tries. First time the pin came out the cork. Second time it was done and we were removing the template and a pin came out.

And the third time I painted the back board and got to work - and it succeeded!

What I’ve learned about art is that sometimes you fail - and then sometimes after some trial and error and adjustments and sometimes sheer luck - you succeed! There’s a life lesson in there. #artist #stringart #lifelesson taken in RIG Arts by @petgreshow

Ten years ago, I became an ordained minister in the @universallifechurch. My plan was to conduct a wedding live on the daily drive time show I was doing at the time.

And it was going to be a real wedding. We were going to do it 100% seriously, on air. The station would have been the home of the party, with decorations and all manner of real wedding paraphernalia. I even went into the council office in the town where the station was based (it’s not a secret; Barrhead) to check if there was any legal reason why not.

And then I got fired from that show. I have many adjectives I could use to describe that, and the people who did it, but they don’t deserve the oxygen. And I’ll save that for the hashtags.

I still want to do it, maybe if/when I get back on air I’ll restart the idea. (Is anyone hiring?)

For now, I’ll just post this knowing that lesser stations vulture my social media so they can strip mine it for content.

So if you see a “live wedding” popping up on sub-par stations, you know where the idea came from.

I don’t normally post about celebrities when they pass. And others will make massive detailed speeches about her career and her charity work and her as a person way better than I can.

But Dolly’s music made a woman who had the world on her shoulders feel like it was all going to be okay, if only for a few moments. And for that I can never express my gratitude and my appreciation to Dolly.

We will always love you. by @petgreshow

I have been busy AF at @edfringe. I’ve met some amazing people, I’ve had some great laughs, I’ve made two jokes to amazing comedians who may be incorporating them into their shows so BASICALLY I’m now a comedy writer.

Wrap post coming shortly, because we’re not wrapped yet baybee!

Because Insta sucks massively I can’t post the links but look at the top, they’re all there. #edfringe #brookes #edinburgh #summer26 taken in Pleasance Dome by @petgreshow

The kit then

Vs

The kit now

This is the start of year seven of #edfringe26 for me, and every year the kit has gotten just a littttle bit heavier wandering the hills of the city.

As I’ve slimmed down and upgraded it makes me think how little things have changed. I still love this, and I’m still so excited to begin.

DID YOU KNOW?

The Peter Greenwood Show is now on @letterboxd?

Come see what terrible but oddly hilarious takes I have about movies!

I’ll also post the link *somewhere* because @instagram are dick butts about links.

I am NOT a record collector. I don’t even have a record player.

But when I saw this beauty I truly had to have it. I genuinely love this song @brianmayforreal @bbceastenders #vinyl #eastenders #epicsong #doofdoof taken in Albert Square, Walford, E20 by @petgreshow
