Gymbro wants you to do 3 sets of 12 reps on the reverse Pec-Deck for "healthy shoulders." Meanwhile, climbers are out here holding a full-body isometric contraction 8 meters above the deck just to clip a quickdraw. 🤫🧗‍♂️

Let’s break down the actual biomechanics of this specific climbing position (the classic "opposing press" or "compression into a reverse grip"):

🧠 THE PHYSIO BREAKDOWN:
When you are pressing outward on two vertical holds at the same height using a reverse (backhand) grip, you aren’t just pulling—your upper body is essentially screaming in an intense isometric chain:

1️⃣ Rotator Cuff Stability: The Infraspinatus and Teres Minor are working at 100% capacity to externally rotate the shoulder joint, keeping the humeral head securely inside the socket under massive outward force. This prevents internal rotation collapse (Impingement syndrome).

2️⃣ Scapular Anchoring: Your Smarter Muscles (like the Serratus Anterior) are firing like crazy to glue your shoulder blades flat against your rib cage, preventing "winging scapula." Simultaneously, the lower Trapezius suppresses the shoulders down away from your ears to maintain a stable base.

3️⃣ The Kinetic Chain: To let go with one hand and clip the rope, the remaining shoulder has to instantly double its workload, while your core and Gluteus Maximus transfer all that lateral force down into your toes on the wall.

Vertikálna linka do neba neba a viac ako 110 rokov histórie na oceľovom lane! 🇦🇹

🧗‍♂️ Vyliezť na kultovú ferratu Hans von Haidsteig (obtiažnosť D/+1000m) s Dášenkou v rakúskom Raxe bol neskutočný zážitok. Vedeli ste, že táto trasa funguje už od roku 1913? Prejsť ikonické železné rebríky v tvare stromov z roku 1921, pozdraviť Čiernu Madonnu v stene a nakoniec si užiť výhľad z Preinerwandu ...

Toto miesto má neskutočnú atmosféru a dokonale preverí silu v rukách aj čistú hlavu🇦🇹⛰️.

Tip na cestu dole : zostup ferratou Preinerwandsteig (video) môžem iba odporučit !

Mám rád dlouhé vytrvalostní cesty, ale občas se ten charakter prostě nabídne sám. V tomhle novém 7c mě to trochu strhlo.

Klíčová sekvence:
1️⃣ Z lišty otočit levou ruku na špatný bočospodák.
2️⃣ Ninja kick do kouta.
3️⃣ Pustit levačku těsně před tím než doletíš na stup
