Growing up, I learned the value of discipline, hard work, and always striving to be better every day. One step in front of the other. Keep showing up, keep pushing, and trust the process. All the glory to God. When you push yourself and stay faithful, God will open doors you never imagined would open. And sometimes, He’ll close doors you thought were meant for you. But even then, there’s a plan.Keep working. Keep believing. Keep trusting God’s timing. You may not understand it all right now, but He sees the bigger picture. by @peycutfit

Dear HYROX DC, What a weekend full of emotions. As you can see from my face, HYROX is HARD. If it were easy, everyone would do it. There are way too many people to thank who helped make this day possible. From the shakeout run, to the warm-up, to the finish line, everyone I met brought such positive energy and made the experience even more special. A special shout-out to @skepler4 for being there to capture the moments and support me throughout the weekend. Now it’s her turn she’s doing her first race doubles with me. To excited stay tuned! My first time in DC was an amazing experience, and I’m grateful for every person who made it what it was. With love, Peycutfit by @peycutfit
6 WEEKS OUT FROM CIM SHOULD RUNNERS STILL LIFT? Absolutely. You just have to be smart about it. This morning: 8 miles at 8:05/mile easy pace, followed by a power workout in the gym. THE WORKOUT: * Barbell squats — 4 sets at 185 lb * Box jumps — bodyweight * Landmine presses — 8 reps * Single-arm kettlebell swings — 8 reps * Jump rope — 4 × 30 seconds * Core work At this point in marathon training, the goal isn’t to chase gym PRs. It’s to maintain strength, build power, and keep your body prepared for the demands of running. As race day gets closer, I’ll reduce lifting volume and prioritize recovery while keeping the intensity appropriate. The goal is to arrive at the starting line strong, fresh, and ready to race. Runners: When do YOU stop lifting before a marathon? Do you keep lifting right up to race week, or cut it out completely? Drop your approach in the comments! #MarathonTraining #CIM #Runner #StrengthTraining #GymRat by @peycutfit
