El pájaro que rebota,
sube y baja sin parar,
bota y bota al son
de su pequeño corazón. 🐦💕#bird #artwork #artworkoninstagram The little bird that bounces,
up and down without a stop,
bouncing, bouncing to the beat
of its little heart. 🐦💕 by @pfggdesign

Between life and death, feeling the flesh remain behind as I leave, feeling my heart stop beating, as I cross into the light and become part of it. Entre la vida y la muerte, sintiendo cómo la carne se queda y yo salgo, cómo mi corazón deja de latir, cómo traspaso la luz y me vuelvo parte de ella. #artwork #artworkininstagram by @pfggdesign

Recordando la entrevista de 2025. Thank you to the City of Los Angeles Department of Cultural Affairs for publishing my work in this year’s Heritage Calendar for the month of September. Despite the challenges that the Latino community continues to face in Los Angeles, we keep celebrating through poetry, painting, and art—leaving behind a lasting Latino legacy. Even in times when attempts are made to erase us, we continue to express ourselves with love and peace through art. This time, they published my piece “El corazón del guerrero” along with a short interview. I deeply appreciate both the digital publication and the annual book—it turned out wonderful. Thank you @harris_marcia #culturalaffairsla #culturalaffairs #culturalaffairsdepartment #lacityart

Gracias al Departamento de Asuntos Culturales de la Ciudad de Los Ángeles por volver a dar un espacio a mi trabajo en el Calendario de la Herencia Latina 2026. Este año, mi obra “La Muerte” y Los niños del más allá” forma parte de una publicación que, en su conjunto, parece reflejar la tristeza, la incertidumbre y también la resistencia de nuestra comunidad latina en estos tiempos difíciles. Detrás del arte y de las historias que llenan sus páginas, también están las dolorosas realidades de familias separadas y de personas detenidas simplemente por migrar. Y aun así, seguimos creando. Seguimos compartiendo nuestros colores, nuestras historias, nuestras tradiciones y nuestra cultura a través del arte. En momentos como estos, el arte se convierte en una manera de preservar nuestra identidad, honrar nuestra historia y recordarnos que aquí seguimos. Gracias por incluir nuestras voces y permitir que nuestra cultura siga siendo vista, sentida y recordada en Los Ángeles. Aprecio profundamente tanto la publicación digital como el hermoso libro anual. 💕Thank you to the City of Los Angeles Department of Cultural Affairs for giving space to my work once again in the 2026 Heritage Calendar. This year, my piece, “La Muerte y los niños del más allá,” becomes part of a publication that, as a whole, seems to reflect the sadness, uncertainty, and resilience of our Latino community during these difficult times. Behind the beautiful art and stories, there are also the painful realities of families separated and people detained simply for migrating. And yet, we continue to create. We continue to share our colors, our stories, our traditions, and our culture through art. descubriendo mundos de la mano;

compartiendo su magia con los demás. ✨Two siblings, two little souls,
discovering worlds hand in hand;

#moon #monkey #artwork #artworkforsake They say the Moon spun around to collect stories. One night, her spiral caught the monkey’s tail while he slept with his helmet of stars and carried it into the sky. His little bird friend opened the old starry helmet with his beak and woke him up. The Moon had not stolen his tail to take it away… she had traded it for curiosity. When he awoke, the monkey left his old self behind and began to walk upright beneath the Moon. by @pfggdesign
