"Watching the Sailboats"
⛵️ Music and Lyrics by Brandon Acosta ⛵️
.
I've been feeling so creatively motivated these past few months, in no small part thanks to good friends who create lovely spaces to make art for art's sake, so I thought I'd share this draft of a song I wrote this August from a new project I'm working on. Ever so grateful to @ruby.gibs for taking the time to learn this and for performing it so beautifully 💕 taken in Potluck by @pfgum2

In the wise, immortal words of @sean.zuckerman, "Summer never really ends." 🌞🏖🌊🌳

***EDIT: It has come to my attention that I made a grave error in this caption and miscredited the lyricist of the Utimate Song of the Summer™️. I am truly apologetic for this mistake. These wise, immortal words were actually written by @_x.tra and I give her all credit where credit is due. They say history is written by the victors, but it's rewritten by the forgetful, and I promise to do better in the future.*** taken in Chicago, Illinois by @pfgum2
