…but until it does, don’t forget that steady rain can make the roads slippery, reduce visibility and create hazardous conditions.

As you travel, please remember to:

🚗 Slow down and increase your following distance.
💡 Turn on your headlights to improve visibility.
🌊 Be flood aware. Never drive through barricades or floodwater.

DPW&T’s Bicycle and Pedestrian Program, the Prince George’s County Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., and the M-NCPPC Department of Parks and Recreation co-hosted a community walk at the historic Ridgeley Rosenwald School as they counted down to Walk Maryland Day.

🚨 OSDM technology just got a whole lot cooler! 🤖

Our Jet Vac Team is learning how to use a pipe repair video camera that can travel inside storm drain inlets and pipes, giving our crews a closer look at underground conditions and helping them better identify maintenance needs.

New technology means smarter inspections, better planning, and more efficient stormwater management.
