SRI LANKA 🇱🇰

“A taste of humanity”

1. HOMESTAYS - we tried our best to blend in with the lifestyle, culture and traditions of Sri Lankans through homestays. I feel that has a profound impact when one travels, to be accepted within the community.
2. POLYGLOTS - I realised most of the Sri Lankan men, in theirs 40-50s, were polyglots. They went abroad to work for selective countries hence picking up the local language. Now they thrive on being tour guides in Sri Lanka 🇱🇰
3. SPIRITUALITY - something in the air here 🤔

SIGIRIYA ROCK FORTRESS - NEW WONDER OF THE WORLD

1. As a Hindu visiting this magnificent fortress has fulfilled me and made the kid proud who was always eager to learn about Hindu mythology
2. King Kasayapas 5th century capital engineering marvel!! 180m high, swimming pools, hydraulic systems and sophisticated urban planning 👏
3. Travelling to this ancient city of sigiriya was a dream come true! taken in Sigiriya Sri Lanka, සීගිරිය by @pgfromfiji

MY FIRST TRAIL RUN 🏃 🇹🇭

KOH CHANG 30km with €30 Decathlon shoes

Adverse conditions made it challenging yet the surreal feeling it gave in return will be cherished!

Met beautiful souls along the way ….. SONDER
