About two years ago, I used to feel lonely. Then I started running and later joined a @runninglatteclub . Since then, I’ve met so many amazing friends and kind, supportive people.
I’m so grateful to everyone who has always supported me and cheered me on. ❤️
Back then, my English was really bad. I still remember @vikikornyei telling me, “It’s okay. Just enjoy these moments.” Those words really encouraged me.
My English has improved a lot since then, although sometimes I still have to use a translator 😅 I still have a lot to work on!
There are so many fun moments that I never got to capture or share. For now, I can’t run because of my injury. Hopefully, I’ll be back in 1–2 months and join you all again. 😘

This year was all about having fun. Running purely for the joy of it, and bringing to life "¡QUE RICO ES CORRER!”

Learning to enjoy long distances and letting go of fear. Simply running… and running… and running a little more.

The most beautiful part of all is that 75% of my runs this year were shared, with friends, with people I love.

My only goal was to average 10 km a day, 3,650 km in the year, just to prove to myself that I can be consistent.

Honestly, the challenge ended up being easier than expected, and I’m happy I achieved it without neglecting my responsibilities... I found balance, a healthy body, caring for my health, my work, my hobbies, my friendships, my relationship, my family, enjoying some beers, and still having extra time to rest, practice other sports, to travel and narture my spiritual life. Time is gold.

Absolutely every single Sunday looked like...
Long run in the morning, Holy Mass in the afternoon and sweet dinner in the night.

This year:
•I had zero injuries
•I learned to run responsibly
•I never felt unwell from heat or dehydration
•I ran two marathons with my sister who lives in Mexico, that feels like a miracle
•I ran in 13 countries, competing in 5 of them
•I reached two podiums:
🥉 3rd place in a Marathon in Italy, on the very same day my sister also took 3rd place in her category
🥇 1st place in a Half Marathon relay, alongside my Colombian brother Andrés.

I’m saving the toughest challenges for 2026, ✨️ which I’m already eagerly looking forward to. 😃💪🏽

I thank God for the blessing of running for pure joy,
for the health, time, work, friends, my family, the enough food on my table, my energy, a roof above me to can rest, and the desire in my heart.
all of which made it possible for me to run every day I wished this year.

DE VERDAD QUE RICO ES CORRER 🤍
