Our Barra Bus-Jitsu — wrapped in bold Gracie Barra graphics and featuring some pretty cool little Jiu-Jitsu champs on the sides 🥋💪 — is now serving families in the Westlake area, including Cuernavaca, Bee Cave, Rollingwood!

I’m happy, excited, anxious, and ready to do a great job with this amazing opportunity I’ve just received.

I’ve been invited to join my friend Alexandre Dande Gracie Barra academy as one of the instructors. I truly want to thank him from the bottom of my heart for this incredible opportunity.

I want you all to know that I’ll dedicate 100% of myself to every class and every training session, with the goal of helping everyone improve and continuing this great and beautiful story that we are building together.

Thank you so much to everyone for the support and trust. It will be a pleasure to live in Austin and be part of this new chapter.

Ao recordar as conquistas e os aprendizados desse caminho, ele fez questão de reconhecer todos que contribuíram para sua formação: seus pais, Professores, amigos e companheiros de treino de Brasília, alunos no Texas, esposa e filhos.

Porque nenhum legado é construído sozinho.

Parabéns, Professor Dande, por essa conquista e por uma trajetória dedicada ao Jiu-Jitsu e à família Gracie Barra.

After 25 years of dedication, Professor Dande received his Legacy Hall recognition during the GB World Summit 2026 with a deep sense of accomplishment and gratitude. 🔺

As he reflected on the achievements and lessons of his journey, he made a point of recognizing everyone who helped shape his path: his parents, Professors, friends and training partners in Brasília, students in Texas, wife, and children.

Because no legacy is built alone.

Life has changed rapidly since the beginning of July. Lots of things are not the same, but one thing has remained stronger than ever: LOVE.

There were quite a few days when I thought life was pushing me away from the things, the people and some of the places I loved dearly. But in some of the darkest moments, God has shown me that LOVE HAS NO END!

I have a lot of work to do and a lot to work for, and each and every one of you has been showing me that I was never alone. My family was never alone.

I appreciate everyone who has donated their money, their time, their help and especially their prayers to me and my family. I don’t know if I will ever be able to properly explain what your love and generosity have meant to us.

One day at a time, I will continue to do the work I need to do. I want you to know that I can feel your prayers healing my brain, my heart and my soul.

If I haven’t responded to your messages, please know that I am simply overwhelmed with all the love you have been pouring into me. Reading your messages and listening to your audio messages has genuinely become one of the highlights of my days.

Right now, my wife and my kids are the only people I truly have the bandwidth for. Navigating these new challenges together and being present for them is taking almost all of my energy. They need me, and I need them.

But those who know me know my heart. When I have the strength and space again, I will make sure each and every one of you feels some of the same love you have been pouring into me and my family.

For now, it’s one day at a time. Loving my family. Trusting God. Doing the work. Healing my brain, my heart and my soul. Learning to navigate this new chapter and continuing to move forward.

We will get out of this stronger. The difficult days will not last forever. There will be laughter, hugs and reasons to celebrate again. And soon, we will be celebrating life together!

Help my boys and I wishing our dear Mama @chrystal_west_santos a very happy birthday 🎂🎉🎊🎁🎈

As pretty as she could possibly be and as sweet as an angel, Chrystal is our Mama and our everything!

Constantly taking care of all three of us and everyone else she’s sees in need. She’s a loyal friend to her besties, she’s a hot wife, she’s an extremely loving mom, and a solid rock for her entire family.

She demands nothing in return and spreads love everywhere she goes. She’s a blessing on our lives and me and my boys are luckiest people on earth to have her for life.

Te amo Mãezinha! 😻

Austin West Santos 🐶

Also know as Papudeza has made his trip to dog heaven yesterday 💔

I adopted him after seeing an ad for @austinpetsalive saying this adorable pup was about to be send back to the shelter he came from and they had gotten him from their euthanasia program list so he had little to no chances of making it through another process. They said he was less than one year old and he was an overall great dog which he was, what they forget to mention to me or maybe they didn’t catch was the fact he was also deaf.

In the same week I went out on our first date with my wife @chrystal_west_santos and that’s how my family started.

This sweet guy went on to live 15 great years with us and made our lives better every single day.

Our boys were raised running around and over him. He was our babysitter. He was the best friend to everyone who walked inside our house with us but a true ruler of every neighborhood we live in.

He led a gang of outlaws and ruled the trails of townlake and made sure no squirrels ate their nuts unbothered.

His love for walks and rides together with his massive poops gave him a nickname that more than the WiFi password to my house, it became the way to our hearts. 💞

Besides the love we have for each other, he was the one love we all shared first outside our four as family.

During our bedtime we always thank God and ask one another how much we love our family and after our four names his mane was always the first one on the list of pets we are grateful for the memories he gave us throughout these past 15 years.

Forever in our hearts ♾️
