I’m really glad you’re here.

I’ve changed my mind about what I want this space to be.

Not just the finished performances.
Not just the polished moments.
But the real journey behind them.

I’m a singer, artist, backing vocalist, vocal coach, theatre performer, daughter, sister, aunty and friend.

I’ve loved deeply. I’ve lost deeply. I’ve been heartbroken, rebuilt, started again and kept moving, even while carrying grief.

So this page is becoming an open journal of the music, the work, the laughter, the lessons, the family, the travel and the life in between.

My hope is that, by sharing more honestly, another people might be reminded that pain does not mean your story is over.

You can still laugh.
You can still dream.
You can still create.
You can still become.

So it’s 2025 minus one month!

Being presented with 2x Gold and 1x silver recognition plaques to add to my collection, for songs I’ve been blessed to sing on in my career, is a moment to absolutely reflect on how grateful I am for my journey and achievement’s.
The 8 year old girl is proud and cheering me on and is beaming with joy!

11 more months of celebrating me to go! Woo! Don’t mind if I do😝💅🏾

“Sometimes the things we’re most afraid to share are actually the things that create the deepest connection.”

Reading this interview back made me realise something…

We spend so much time moving from one project to the next that we rarely stop to reflect on where we’ve been.

This conversation with @wordplaymagazine gave me the chance to do exactly that.

We spoke about my @officialronnies performance, growing up singing in church, grief, faith, the artists who’ve shaped me, and the new chapter I feel I’m stepping into.

I came across this video again recently.

I remember this version of me.

I wasn’t performing. I wasn’t trying to make content. I just turned the camera on one day and started singing.

Looking at her now, I see things I probably couldn’t see at the time. How small I was. How drawn my face was. How much I was carrying.

And with so many certain anniversaries surrounding this time of year, memories from that chapter of my life have naturally been finding their way back to me.

Part of me watches this now and just wants to reach through the screen and hold her. To tell her that I know. That I understand now.

But I don’t only feel sadness when I watch her.

I hear something too.

My voice.

People often know me for the big vocals. The high notes. The power. And I love all of that cause it’s part of me.

But sometimes a voice doesn’t need to be big to say something big.

Sometimes singing a few words quietly can carry just as much as the note you hold at the top of your range.

Maybe even more.

There was no stage here. No audience. No big vocal moment. Just me, a camera, a song, and whatever I needed to let out that day.

As I’ve started sharing more of my story, I’m realising I want there to be space for all of my voice.

Not just the version that soars.

The version that whispers too.

Royal Albert Hall felt like a full circle moment, stepping into something new and actually feeling at home in it.

As requested from my supporters, here is some of the actual performance of me singing ‘I’ll be there’. From a kitchen rehearsal to the stage of the world famous @officialronnies with the @soulMotown family. It was a moment that brought back so many nostalgic memories of singing in @mjthemusicaluk.
