We are all witnessing the dawn of a new era - one that is likely to inspire us to ask new questions, and seek answers to some very old ones.

Lately, I find myself thinking a lot about what it means to be human; to experience being alive; to have a soul that informs all of my creative acts.

I’m no stranger to the concept of faith, but I’m beginning to understand its power in a whole new way.

To believe that my greatest strength lies in the very same invisible superpower that I share with every other human being gives me a great deal of hope for the future. 🙏🏻

❤️ 2007 → 2026. What a journey.
Different venues. Different stages. Different parts of London. So many faces, voices and memories.ml

As we look back over 19 years of Blessed Souls, we simply want to say THANK YOU.
To every venue that opened its doors to us.

Every person who bought a ticket or paid on the door, turned up and supported.
Every musician who played.
Every artist who graced our stage.
Every DJ, host and creative who contributed.

Every team member whose been on the door, managed the stage and ran around to collaborate on one of the biggest open mic sessions in London.
Everyone who ever stepped forward and blessed up the mic.

And everyone in the audience who encouraged somebody brave enough to get on that stage.

You were part of the Blessed Souls story.
And maybe it’s time to get back to some of that again — open mics, live jams, interaction, discovering new talent and creating those spontaneous Blessed Souls moments. 🎤🎶

Our reunion on Tuesday 27th October 2026 has been stirred by the loss of our beloved Clive McKinley — Vanbrugh Hill, bringing old and new friends together and reminding us to celebrate the people who contribute to our lives and our music.
So here’s to the memories we’ve made — and the ones still to come.
19 years of Blessed Souls. One special reunion.

This is top-tier House Music.

Defected have blessed us with some absolute classics over the years.

Tune after tune after tune and some genius production.

We all know that.

But this one, I think, has somehow snuck under the radar a little bit.

Not because it isn’t cool or doesn’t tick all the boxes, because it absolutely does.

I just don’t think it gets spoken about enough.

In my opinion, it is right up there.

Listen to the vocal.

Listen to the bass.

Listen to it all.

This really is top-tier House Music at its very best.

We were at 528 Ibiza the other day and I heard this getting looped in the background, but the vocal never came in, and it instantly reminded me how good this tune is.

Come on, this is so big.

🫖 Westlife Tea Talk 🫖

Dear readers,

Did you honestly think I’d forgotten about the Tea Talk? Well, you were wrong! I’ve decided that, from now on, the Tea Talk will be making its appearance every Wednesday. Consider it your midweek dose of Westlife gossip, thoughts and general madness. 😉

Now then, the Westlife bubble is currently absolutely buzzing because tomorrow, the Westlife 25th Anniversary Tour finally kicks off! And where is the author writing this very Tea Talk, you may ask? On a bus, of course, as she is currently making her way to Dublin. 🚍🇮🇪

Saturday was a particularly special day for Westlife. The lads performed “World of Our Own” and “You Raise Me Up” at the final fight of Katie Taylor in Croke Park. And just so you can understand the scale of it all: I genuinely don’t think there was a single person in Ireland who didn’t see it! 😂

Naturally, the author had a few little moles in the audience – also known as friends – who kindly sent her some videos. 🕵️‍♀️😂 The atmosphere looked absolutely incredible, and the lads delivered a seriously impressive performance. Dare I say it… I genuinely think that may have been one of their best live performances yet!

And now, for a slightly more serious moment…

The author has decided that Wednesday will officially become Tea Talk day. Last week, when publishing some of the Coffee Talks, I may have been a little too quick off the mark.

Just because you know something doesn’t necessarily mean you should be the first person to say it. Sometimes, the people who are ultimately going to announce something officially should be given the chance to do so first.

Nobody gave me any trouble, and the posts were well received. Still, after thinking about it afterwards, I realised that it didn’t sit entirely right with me.

Sometimes you learn as you go along – and I think that’s important too. ❤️

Anyway… enough of the serious stuff! Dublin, Westlife and one very excited author await! ☘️💚
