I don’t really have a voice today because all of you took my breath away with how gosh darn inspiring you are. Thank you for sharing your spirit and determination with all of us. @kathrineswitzer once said if you’re ever losing faith in humanity, go out and watch a marathon. Strangers cheering for strangers. People running while raising money for causes near and dear to their hearts. And a whole city that welcomes the world to achieve one goal. Damn. Ain’t no better event. Which is why it keeps drawing me back in after already coming out of retirement once. Sydney and yesterday ignited that flame again…

A lil pause in prom celebrations for a VIP announcement: Happy 1000th Day in a row of running at least one mile to my dude @phil_d_run! We don’t do anything halfway around here at the @skokieswifters , and that includes celebrating all of the things. I admire the heck outta you friend, and know that so many others feel the same way. You have shown us what commitment, dedication, and showing up truly looks like. Day 1000! Of running at least one mile outside everyday.
I'm not the best at words but here it is. Days like these don't happen often and they don't come by easy. You have to build it day by day mile by mile. It's truly a practice in patience. I was fortunate enough to have a cheering section along the way.

@miniivxx today doesn't happen without you. You're my biggest source of support, the gas in my tank, my coach, my enabler, and my number one fan. You make doing the hard things a little easier. I love you for always allowing me the time and space to try these dumb challenges.

@captain7stars for being a true friend. for putting the scamper together and always being in my corner. Thanks Coach!
@swaintrain54 And @wigapotomus 🐺🐺 for coming out extra early today running a bunch miles before the scamper. Means the world to me. Thanks for weirding me in 😂.
