OMEGA graciously invited a group of 3 watch enthusiasts to their factory and headquarters in Biel, Switzerland.
.
It was an unforgettable day and fascinating to get hands on with everything from the escapement to the hands on the dial. We received the Omega caliber 2211A (based on the Unitas), which we completely dissassembled, reassembled, cased, and finally finished with the attachement of the strap.
.
I edited a video documenting the experience. I tried to keep it as short and snappy as possible, and still ended up over 6 minutes!

Rounding off the weekend on a walk with my latest purchase. The @mermont La Parfaite. The name, a reference to this current moment I'm in right now. A perfect evening walk with my offsprings. 😍🩷

A beautiful little hour-only watch, with a salmon dial set in a 38 x 9.2mm full-platinum case & tantalum caseback. Swiss manual-wind caliber with a large crown for comfy winding further sweetens the piece!

This is the best micro adjustment system I've experienced to date! The bracelet can be adjusted without opening the clasp, and it's super quick to do. For these hot days, it's something I use multiple times a day. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

Been wearing the new Chronomat (AB0158) today. It really is remarkable how well it wears compared to the predecessor, which I own and frequently wear (blue dial, swipe to see). The drastic lug to lug decrease and extra slimness make it a pleasure to wear. Bezel action also, much improved! Personally I like the utilitarian look of the old bezel, but this streamlined design is very slick too!
