Had an incredible weekend at Mission Beach racing at the San Diego Crew Classic with Potomac Boat Club and Club Nautico de San Juan.

Fast racing, big energy, and plenty of highs and lows. Breaking a rigger minutes before a race, last-minute lineup changes, tough losses, and big wins.
Four events. Two wins.

Stepping in last minute to sub for Club Nautico’s stacked Copley Cup lineup made for a surreal moment: bringing home the Men’s Varsity 8+ Invitational win.

Back at the University of Washington rowing, I watched our 1V take this event twice.
28 years later… getting one myself.

PBC saw another one of our own make the US National Team to compete in the 2025 World Championship Beach Sprints in Turkey! @philiphoyle qualified in the Mixed 2x and continued to train at PBC! Phil has seen success since he was a @usrowing junior NT, @washingtonmrowing, @rowobc and as one of our own - sculling and sweep, Hoyle will always be a part of the speed and excitement! Coach @rumpf.roast supported their training and @prsf_dc assisted with their fees. Congratulations to these two for making the US National Team and international stage… can’t wait to see what’s next! #potomacboatclub #bleedred #yeahboatclub #beachsprints #rowlikeachampion by @philiphoyle

Cape Cod Beach Sprints! 🌊🏖️

Amazing weekend at the beach! Huge thanks to everyone who helped put on such a great regatta!

5 events, rough water, and plenty of fun conditions.

As the day went on the water only got wilder, and finals ended up being cancelled.

Results were based on time trials, and I was lucky enough to grab the fastest times in 4 events!

A surreal weekend at the Windermere Cup in Seattle. 27 years after my last race here, I was blessed with the opportunity to compete again.

The course felt unchanged. We raced in a Pocock shell, with yachts lining the waterway just as they did decades ago.

As we surged through the final meters of the Cut, time seemed to slow. The rhythmic beat of blades rose above the muffled roar of the crowd. The pain dissolved into the quiet triumph of victory. And for a moment, it felt like I had never left. taken in University of Washington by @philiphoyle

Arrived in Genova to practice for the upcoming World Rowing Coastal Championships! Genova is a beautiful place! It is an honor and privilege just to be here.

We are looking forward to competing with all the exceptional athletes from across the globe, and we are proud to represent represent @heroesmovement @potomacboatclub1869, and @usrowing
