You kinda had to be there. ☕️

Our first Cuts & Coffee was everything we hoped it would be. Good coffee, honest conversation, new connections, and a room full of people willing to slow down and share a little life together.

A huge thank you to Society 57 for being our very first featured coffee partner and helping us kick this thing off right.

And thank you to David for opening up, sharing his story, and giving us a deeper look at the heart behind Good News.

If you missed this one, we missed having you.

But we’re just getting started.

“Am I ready? Do I have what it takes?”

I imagine that’s a question many fathers ask themselves at some point.

I know I’ve asked it.

The reality is, most of us don’t feel fully prepared for fatherhood.

Yet somehow, God entrusts us with one of life’s greatest gifts: Our children.

As I’ve gotten older, I’ve realized how easy it is to become consumed by work, responsibilities, goals, and the pressures of everyday life.

But children don’t stay children forever.

One day they’re asking you to carry them.

The next day they’re asking for the car keys.

Then before you know it, they’re preparing for the next chapter of their lives.

My encouragement to every father is simple:

Take it day by day.

Don’t rush through the season you’re in.

Be present.

Embrace the gift God has entrusted to you.

And enjoy every stage while you have it.

“Children are a gift from the Lord; they are a reward from him.”
‭‭Psalms‬ ‭127‬:‭3‬ ‭NLT‬‬

New chapter. Same purpose.

Grateful for every client, conversation, lesson, and season that led to this moment. Excited to step into a new space at Goodnews Barbershop and continue building, serving, and creating at a higher level.

This is only the beginning.

The colder it gets, the more your beard starts crying out for moisture. Steam + the right products = softer growth, healthier skin, and less breakage.
