If you have a dream - go get it!!!

5 years ago, I was depressed and never could have imagined the life I am building now.

Don’t get me wrong, I still get scared these days. Because betting on yourself can take so much consistent faith.

However, I would take the fear of the unknown …over the pain of never trying any day.

When I weigh the worries I’ve felt:
🏦 finances
👹self doubt
💨🍃 fear of the unknown
📱 where the next job is coming from

Compared to what I’ve gained:
🎨 Incredible new friends and mentors
🥹Self confidence
🫟 Increased Talent
💖 The joy that people feel in the spaces I’ve created for them
✨Growth as an entrepreneur
‼️ The skills that I needed to excellent- photography- storytelling - marketing- business like too many to list!
🙏 The peace that comes from knowing on my death bed- I won’t regret never trying
🤩 the inspiration I’ve felt from other badass artists

There is no comparison.

All this being said - as United States becomes increasingly more fascist - this is scary as fuck too, but by trusting the path I’m going down- I’m finding active ways to use my art as a tool for resistance and place making. If your chasing your authentic gifts, the universe presents opportunities OR you create opportunities to help in an aligned way!

Take a breath.. bet on yourself.. resist… and help others… especially where it aligns with your natural gifts!
