Knowledge is Power and here’s how to make Powerful in your life.✅

If you own your Philadelphia home and live in it as your primary residence, you are eligible for the Homestead Exemption on your Real Estate Tax.

✅The Homestead Exemption reduces the taxable portion of your property’s assessed value.

🔴With this exemption, the property’s assessed value is reduced by $100,000.
🔴Starting in 2025, most homeowners save up to $1,399 a year on their Real Estate Tax bill. The benefit was lower before.

✅Once your application is approved, you never have to reapply for the exemption unless your deed changes, such as when refinancing a mortgage, adding, or removing a co-owner.

✅If the exemption amount changes, you do not need to reapply to receive the increased amount. You will receive property tax savings every year, as long as you continue to own and live in the property.

📣The deadline to apply for tthis year is December 1st, 2026!!!!!

Invited: CULTURAL MASTER PLAN - Public

Last year, thousands of Philadelphians came to town halls in every council district and told us what arts and culture should look like in our city. All of it went into the draft of Philadelphia's first Cultural Master Plan.

Now we @creativephl are bringing it back to you before the plan becomes final. Did we get it right? In 90 minutes you will hear what the plan says, and you will tell us, in your own words, whether it reflects what you meant.

Join one of the remaining town halls 10/8, 10/15.

🔴Free Home Repairs are available to Philadelphia neighbors who qualify based on INCOME. For a long time many neighbors did not qualify for help. They didn’t qualify even though they live in a city that is listed as one of the top 10 largest cities with the highest percentages of residents living below the federal poverty line.. (families that are financially poor)

🔴Now in 2026 FREE HOME REPAIR grants are available to MORE homeowners to fix their homes.

Repairs for:
