Are you a new, expecting parent? Come learn how to keep your infant safe on October 27th at our Infant Safe Sleep Class. Families will learn essential tips for keeping their baby safe while sleeping. These classes are FREE and are held in person, participating families will receive free baby essentials, including diapers, wipes, baby clothes, and more! 💙✨

Starting Wednesday, October 14th, The Register of Wills is bringing their services to NCAC 3 at the Community of Compassion CDC from 1pm-3pm every 2nd Wednesday of the month.

Greetings Family, I want to share more city resources with you.✅

Knowledge is Power and here’s how to make Powerful in your life.✅

If you own your Philadelphia home and live in it as your primary residence, you are eligible for the Homestead Exemption on your Real Estate Tax.

✅The Homestead Exemption reduces the taxable portion of your property’s assessed value.

🔴With this exemption, the property’s assessed value is reduced by $100,000.
🔴Starting in 2025, most homeowners save up to $1,399 a year on their Real Estate Tax bill. The benefit was lower before.

✅Once your application is approved, you never have to reapply for the exemption unless your deed changes, such as when refinancing a mortgage, adding, or removing a co-owner.

✅If the exemption amount changes, you do not need to reapply to receive the increased amount. You will receive property tax savings every year, as long as you continue to own and live in the property.

📣The deadline to apply for tthis year is December 1st, 2026!!!!!

🔴Free Home Repairs are available to Philadelphia neighbors who qualify based on INCOME. For a long time many neighbors did not qualify for help. They didn’t qualify even though they live in a city that is listed as one of the top 10 largest cities with the highest percentages of residents living below the federal poverty line.. (families that are financially poor)

🔴Now in 2026 FREE HOME REPAIR grants are available to MORE homeowners to fix their homes.

Repairs for:

* Plumbing
* Heating
* Carpentry
* Roof emergencies
