Week 5 – The Artist’s Way

I got to spend some time doing one of my favourite things this week—street photography. These are a few moments from my walk.

There’s something about walking around with a camera that feels like it’s just for me. No expectations, no performance, no end goal. Just me, the streets, and whatever catches my eye. It’s a different feeling from dancing. I love dancing for so many reasons, but street photography feels quieter. It’s where I reconnect with myself.

I also started reading Tuesdays with Morrie. I’m only a few chapters in, but it’s already making me pause and reflect on what really matters.

As much as I enjoyed those moments, this week was also challenging.

I found myself constantly questioning why I’m doing The Artist’s Way. What’s the purpose? Is any of this actually making a difference? Those thoughts kept creeping in.

But maybe not every question needs an answer straight away. Maybe some things only make sense when you look back. So, for now, I’m choosing to keep going, even if I don’t fully understand where this journey is leading me.

No big breakthroughs this week—just another reminder that growth isn’t always obvious. Sometimes, it’s simply showing up.
