COFFEE CUE IS HERE!

Everyday from 12:00 - 16:00 (except Tuesdays).

Located inside our restaurant, in the space where an traditional roast meat station used to be, we’ve transformed this little corner into a cosy coffee spot serving Vietnamese coffees, classic hot coffees, and Vietnamese style toasties.

Our toasties are freshly made in the kitchen, and the bread is freshly baked by our good friends at @lottie_bakehouse

Just walk in and you’ll spot a little window on your left. Ring the bell and one of our team will be there to take your order.

We’re making every little detail count, so every hot coffee comes with a complimentary wafer roll. Chocolate is our regular flavour, but we may have different flavours available depending on the day.

We can’t wait to see you all soon.

“OUR SWEET & SPICY SAUCE WAS CREATED BY ACCIDENT”

One of the things we’re most proud of is our sweet and spicy sauce, and the funny thing is, it was actually created completely by accident.

In the beginning, we sampled so many different sauces before finally deciding on one. Then, on the final day of making a big batch, Uncle accidentally mixed up two ingredients that were meant for something else.

Once we finished making it, we had one of those “what have we just done?” moments lol.

But somehow, it worked.

That accidental mix became the sweet and spicy sauce we still use today, and it’s something we still talk about.

It goes so well with pretty much everything and has become one of our favourites.

Thank you so much to everyone who’s come in to try our new egg coffee. It means so much to see so many of you coming through. ❤️

We’re currently working on making the wafer cones even sweeter and are speaking with our supplier to improve them.

LOBSTER SPECIALS ONLY ON SUNDAYS!

We source our lobster fresh from our good friend Ian, who actually comes to Chinatown from 9am–1pm, all the way from Wales. He’s got his own fishing boats, It’s all freshly caught the day before, and he drives all the way to Manchester Chinatown in the early hours of Sunday morning. He’s been doing this for over 20 years.

He’s one of, if not the best, seafood suppliers in Manchester in our opinion. He sets up right behind our restaurant in the alley. He’s got all the best seabass, lobsters, clams, oysters, crabs, razor clams, and squid.

We pick it up from him around 10am, then walk about 2 minutes back round to the restaurant to clean, prep, and prepare them for Sunday service. We usually get around 20 lobsters, and his lobsters aren’t small either.

You can order them with traditional ginger and spring onion, salt & pepper, or garlic and butter. We serve them with our broth pho soups and stir-fry pho.

We’ve been doing this since we opened, and it’s become a tradition here at our restaurant to serve lobsters every Sunday.

Our Coffee Corner is now serving our popular Vietnamese iced coffees and Vietnamese toasties.

This is our Salted Cream Coffee, and if you know Vietnamese coffee, then you know it’s one of the best drinks to get, alongside our famous Coconut Coffee.

Last time we showed you our Crispy Chicken Vietnamese Toastie. This time, it’s our King Prawn version. We also have a Stir Fried Beef Toastie available.
