Some photos from our second group that made it out to Colombia this month!! 🇨🇴🤍

We are beyond blessed and incredibly grateful that we had the opportunity to take TWO tours to Colombia this summer! God has been so faithful through every part of these trips, and we’re so thankful for everyone who prayed, supported, and helped make them possible. 🙏🏼

This is just the beginning! Keep an eye out for more information about upcoming tours in the future. We would love for you to join us!

We also want to take a moment to encourage you to pray for Colombia, especially those who have been affected by the recent earthquake. Pray for comfort, protection, provision, and for God to continue working through the communities, churches, and ministries we have had the privilege of serving.

Colombia, we love you! taken in Medellín, Colombia by @phoenix.eagles

Our last day 😭😭

We were able to spend our last day doing some sightseeing, going on a boat ride, and simply enjoying Colombia together. It was such a sweet day to slow down, spend time with one another, and reflect on all that the Lord had done throughout the week.

We ended the night with worship, prayer, and some sweet time together before heading to the airport and beginning our journey home.

But God gave us one more special moment before we left. We crossed paths with another team that was just beginning their journey to Colombia. Even though our teams didn’t know each other, we were able to come alongside them in prayer as they prepared to experience what we had just experienced.

It was such a beautiful reminder that this work is so much bigger than any one team. We may have been heading home, but the Lord is continuing to move in Colombia. 🇨🇴🤍

What a week. What a God. Until next time!!

Day 5!!!

Our last day of ministry 😭❤️

It was also Liv’s birthday, so we got to celebrate her throughout the day, which was so sweet! 🎉

We started the morning with some time worshiping together and getting into the Word. After lunch, we headed over to Andalucía where we got to put our basketball skills to the test! 🏀😂 From there, we headed to Granizal and played some fútbol with kids in the local community! ⚽️

We ended our the night with a late-night pizza run 🍕… and, of course, Josh putting Zoie in air jail.

What a sweet way to end our last day of ministry. So thankful for everything God allowed us to experience!

Day 4!!!

We started the morning at the club with the Escuela kids and got to spend some time playing and pouring into them before heading over to the Manantiales neighborhood!

From there, we got to spend time with the community and see more of what God is doing in Medellín.

And to end the night, the boys played a pickup game against some of the locals at 11 PM! Nothing like ending a long day with some late-night fútbol! ⚽️😂

Another incredible day of getting to love, serve, and share the Gospel through soccer!

DAY 3!!! 🇨🇴🦅

We were so fortunate to visit a school in Valparaíso and host 200+ kids for a day filled with all sorts of games and fun! ⚽️🏀🎉

Last year, we hosted a day camp for about 40 kids, and this year we got to see that number grow to over 200 kids! It’s incredible to see how the Lord is moving in this town and how He continues to open doors for us to build relationships and share His love. ❤️

We then had the opportunity to tour @monteverdecamp —the first-ever church camp in all of Colombia!

Church camp is SUCH a big part of growing up in America, but in places like Colombia, it’s something completely unheard of. We were welcomed with so much joy! We danced, ate, laughed, prayed, and got to hear the heart behind this incredible vision. 🫶🏼

It was such a privilege to hear their dreams and envision what this camp will become in the near future. We truly believe God is going to use Monteverde to impact generations of kids and families across Colombia! 🙏🏼

Join us in praying for the school in Valparaíso and for Monteverde! Pray that God would continue opening doors, providing everything needed for both places!

Day 2!!!

We had the opportunity to join the COSDECOL coaches for their Monday morning meeting before spending some time playing wiffle ball and small-sided games together!

Later that evening, we headed to our first neighborhood outreach in Blanquizal! We introduced the kids to flag football, played plenty of soccer (or should I say fútbol), spent time praying with them, and simply enjoyed building relationships. And of course... we made one furry friend along the way too. 🤣

What an incredible first day of ministry. We were so grateful for the opportunity to love on these kids and point them to Jesus. Please continue praying that God would soften hearts, strengthen the coaches, and use every conversation for His glory. ❤️
